Minneapolis Marriott Northwest

From our arrival on Thanksgiving Thursday the staff was efficient and friendly. They even provided us with Thanksgiving turkey dinners (with pumpkin or pecan pie and whipped cream)!! The room was beautifully appointed and having two separate rooms was an added bonus because my partner had to finish grading some college papers and I wanted to watch a movie. When it was time for bed we crawled into a kingsized bed that was comfortable and luxurious. We had plenty of pillows and had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean and the shower large and walk in. The only complaint through the whole stay was one shared by all hotels these days: the water saving shower heads. They just kinda spit at ya, where I like to be drenched. This was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay.

The best thing about this hotel is its people. I’ve been here multiple times and you couldn’t find kinder people. Paige, Sue, Maddie, and the main girl at breakfast (who I can’t catch her name because she’s everywhere) are phenomenal bartenders/servers. Hannah who works overnights but was more than happy to help with a smile.

And last but not least Stephanie and Shobit. Wow, these two people are not of this world. Their kindness, smile, and warm disposition are rare. They are the best kind of people and leave you feeling like you’ve just ran into a friend.

This hotel is so very lucky they have such incredible people (which goes beyond the staff listed above) representing their company and giving their guests an experience you don’t find often at others. Thank you all for your hard work!

The staff at this location is stellar! Needed to be away from home on the Thanksgiving holiday and we were greeted with smiles and a complementary Thanksgiving meal complete with pumpkin pie. (Prefer sweet potato though : ) ) Because it was a holiday weekend the restaurant and bar had limited hours but we were still able to enjoy the bar and restaurant menu. Double espresso from the coffee bar each morning hit the spot. The children enjoyed the pool and we even had a chance to use the guest laundry which is a great option when you're travelling with family. The microwave is in the guest store area by the front desk but fridges are in the room. Different from most hotels but workable. I understand from staff that the hotel has plans for renovation in the near future as it was a beloved local independent hotel before Marriott took it over and will get the Marriott treatment soon. Overall I'd stay here again.

Update! I did stay here again and the room renovations are nice! Layout still sucks with no bathroom door on the bedroom side but nothing can be done about that and still gotta go to the front desk area store for microwave.

Aesthetically the rooms are lovely and the bed slept amazingly well! Convenient to the heart of the city and the suburbs have nice shopping and lake views to explore.

Stephanie is an incredible asset to your team. She’s always focused on creating a great client experience. I’ve always had a great experience from the front desk and everyone else I’ve interacted with.

Service and food were amazing at Wadsworths restaurant! Stephanie and her team go above and beyond! The newly remodeled rooms are simply the best. Boundry waters cafe serves up the best peppermint mocha!

Not much more to say other than the service and food were great. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Would definitely go back and suggest others do too !

I stayed here for a work training - Region III. It is beautiful! The conference area is great - it has a lot of space and separate areas.

Did not stay in hotel. Was there for a private event. All those involved in bar service, food etc. were very nice and polite. Food was delicious! Great venue for a private event!

I travel to Minnesota about once every two week and this is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at. The rooms are large and the service is top-notch. Stephanie, treats everyone with respect and makes me want to stay at this Marriott every time I'm within a 15 mile radis! Easily, this is the best hotel in the Minneapolis or Plymouth area.

The hotel was more than worth the $130 we paid. Every aspect of the hotel was clean and comfortable. I could not believe how big the gym was. It had almost as much equipment as my actual gym. Also, Kelly at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

THE most comfortable bed! Room was clean. Upgraded to Presidential Suite - lots of room. Have stayed before and all rooms have been spacious. Quick and easy check-in. Cheese curds in the restaurant were AMAZING! Despite being short-handed (this is an issue everywhere right now) all of the staff made us feel welcome and provided exceptional service. Delicious complimentary breakfast with hot food. CARIBOU COFFEE in the cafe provided our favorite morning drinks. Complimentary bottled water is available, and alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the market. Pool and gym were clean. Plenty of room and tables in the common area to spend time with the people you’re traveling with. There is a concierge lounge available weekdays. Have stayed before; already planning our next stay! (We live 35 minutes away and just really like this location!)

Was here for an event a few weeks ago, the food was delicious and the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is spectacular. Love the breakfast they offer downstairs. Great deal. 15 dollars for the buffet. And you get coffee and juice included.

Loved the room! The bedroom is separated from the living area. Great if one person is up late and the other person is ready for bed. Same in the morning if there is an early riser.

The breakfast buffet was $15. Nice selection of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and wonderful crispy bacon. Although my husband said it was cold when he got his. Also included cooked oatmeal, pastries, yogurt, and some cereal.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Awesome hotel and staff! It’s rare service levels are at this level in the hotels I travel. I’m on the road over 150 nights a year and this is at the top of properties I’ve stayed. Rooms are very clean. Excited to come back next month and heard word the rooms are being fully renovated this year.
