First time at the Block and I would say it was a very pleasant experience. In terms of food and service, it was as good as you can ask for. We made reservations and we're seated immediately in the heated patio section. This was our choice to try to get away from the bigger crowds of people. There was a great balance in service, where you order from the server and expediters bring your food out.

We ordered pork belly as a starter and then half a chicken with cauliflower sides. The pork was about what you would expect, kind of steep in price as it cost about as much as the chicken. With the popularity of the pork and how much time it takes to prepare, I would say it is a perhaps priced right though. The chicken was absolutely delicious and was more than enough for the two of us, with sides. Also, they say preparation of the check can take up to 25 minutes, but I don't think it was that long. Either way it is most definitely worth the wait.

We will definitely come back and try the other menu items. One thing new customers should be aware of if you are allergic to dogs. It is a dog friendly establishment and when we were there, there was a cute little dog at the table next to us.

Classic American bar food with some modern options and mixes makes this a great place to dine at when craving American food. What makes this place unique though is how dog friendly they are. There is an outside heated patio where you can dine with your furry friends and they have an entire menu for dogs to order from. We ordered a muttloaf for our dog and it was served hot and devoured in minutes. We ordered a brisket sandwich and half chicken for ourselves, both were delicious.
Pricing is fair and service was very friendly and prompt.

Great for brunch! Excellent spread with four vegan options.

Eggs Benedict was very fair on price. The Hot Chic Benedict was slightly spicy with a sweeter hollandaise. The creamy hasbrowns were crisp on top and one of my favorite parts.

I think I found a new spot for the pup and I thanks to the Yelp experience. The dog menu was impressive. The parking lot by the restaurant itself and across the street are convenient! I ordered a few apps, brussel sprouts and cheese balls along with a lavender mule. The pup had the banana treat and loved it. Great thing about this place is the patio floor is heated and open year round for when those temperatures drop outside and you still want to get your dog out.

This is the best Craft and Crew location we’ve been to! Broasted chicken is a recurring theme on the menu, and it’s delicious, love the sweet heat option. The space has great character, definitely feels like the neighborhood spot. Solid beer list and cocktail menu. Keep an eye out for happy hour and specials. Appreciate the cleanliness and overall great service. Pro tip, park in the lot across the street. This place is worth driving out of your way for - highly recommended!

Went here while my parents and their dog was in town last Saturday. Ate on the outside dog-friendly patio. Overall a good experience and I’d recommend it. Most of the food was delicious and high quality and the employees were very friendly.

The minor issues we had: Parking was slightly annoying since the lot next to the restaurant is tiny, so you’ll likely need to park in the overflow lot across the street. Some of the food could be better—my mom and I agreed that the coleslaw was pretty flavorless and disappointing. Also, we suspect they didn’t list all of the ingredients on the pup burger. My parents dog had a bad case of gas after eating it, and usually that only happens if there is chicken in his meal. Nothing about the description seems to indicate use of chicken.

Despite the shortcomings, I don’t think any of that docks it a star, so I’m leaving it at 5/5.

Everyone had a smile on their face as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating to dietary needs. The food was fresh and the atmosphere was vibey and clean!

The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. The dogs that were there were VERY well behaved. I was very happy to see the dog menu and all the complementary things they had for my dog. The human food was amazing. I got the sweet corn fritters and the parmesan truffle fries. My dog got the K9 chicken. We will DEFINITELY be returning to try out more of their menu.

Stopped in Friday to celebrate my adult Daughters birthday. Our service, food, and overall experience was outstanding. The Birthday shake was a fun finish to our time there, we will be back!

Loved this place and the service was excellent 👏 They have amazing broasted chicken wings. It was juicy and crunchy and so was the regular broasted chicken. Unique drinks. Looks like they have fun things going on all the time. Highly recommend!!

The pictures aren't great but the food is and all the sauces are made from scratch.

Busy little spot but worth the wait. The appetizers were really good from the boneless wings to the pretzels to the corn fritters!! The breasted chicken sandwich and chips were quite tasty too!! Great staff… every efficient and friendly. The only thing that could make this place better is coke products!!

Very dog-friendly place with a patio and dog menu! I want to bring my dog there, they provide mats for them to lay down on which is so thoughtful.

The Cow Duck Goat burger is excellent, as are the buffalo onion rings (we ordered extra buffalo sauce) and buffalo cauliflower (with vegan ranch). Surprisingly large vegan selection, which is great for lactose intolerant folks.

The Alchemist is my favorite cocktail there, very refreshing. The servers are knowledgeable and give great recommendations based on your taste, and I appreciate the time saved by having them run the payment at your table.

Dog lovers should visit! You can sit outside on there pawtio and they bring a mat by your table so your dog can lay on it. Then they bring your pet fresh water in their own bowl. You can also order drinks, sweet treats, entrees for your pet and its delivered with your food. We had a blast! I know your dog will too. 🐕

We had a really good brunch at The Block. We ate on the Pawtio with our dog. It was very warm and cozy even in the dead of winter. The only difference to being inside was a little increased traffic noise. Our dog loved her meal, and also laying on the heated floors. Again, very cozy. She got a lot of attention from the staff and had an overall good experience.

I had a chicken Benedict, and my partner gad a Texas omelet. We also had a couple of drinks. All were very good and the portion sizes were generous. The service was prompt and friendly even on a busy day.

Our only disappointment was that several of their more unique and interesting menu items were out of stock and unavailable. The food was still good, but we had to rechoose more than one menu item we had planned on ordering. Overall, we will be definitely coming again.

Enclosed Pawtio enabled us to have a meal with our dog in a rainstorm. It was fun to bring our dog on our date. The service was very good and the food was great. Recommed the chicken meal. The dog meals were fun but our picky eater left it alone. Parking lot is tiny but there is a lot across the street. Dinner was a little spendy but we had a great experience.

Came in on Sunday to celebrate 2 birthdays. We sat at a high top in the bar, and Tony took care of us. It was my first visit and it was AMAZING! I’ve been raving all week about it! Food and drinks were delicious. I’m vegetarian and celiac, and there were plenty of options for me. The staff were extremely kind and hilarious! They brought our experience from good to great! I will absolutely be back! Thank you for helping make my birthday even better! :)

Best brunch I've had in the Twin Cities in some time. Can't recommend the Texas Omelet enough, but if you add the cream hashbrowns on the side, be prepared for A LOT of food. On Sunday's, if you order a meal, you get a milkshake (chocolate, vanilla, caramel, strawberry?) for $1, I'd say it's medium sized! We put ours in the freezer for later and they were great. The selection of juices for mimosas was so nice! Beautiful patio (filled with dogs) and inside.

This place is legit! Went in on a Sunday for the $1 custard milkshakes and they did not disappoint. Had the boneless wings and ancient grain salad and they were both phenomenal. The kids had a cheeseburger and chicken strips and they were tasty enough that I would order them for my own meal. The fries were also good. Can't wait to get back!

cool place and they have an indoor dog area too (separate from the dining area, or course). You can see the dog area from the restaurant to watch the dogs playing. I had the fried chicken dinner for two and both me and my guest loved the meal. I guess it's what they are known for at the block. Also, it was a Sunday afternoon so they had $1 malts...highly recommend (you'll probably order a 2nd one).
