Bremer Bank

Always has polite and helpful tellers. They do more than they need to in order to help their customers.

I had a pretty bad experience with Bremer as a business banking customer and would recommend avoiding Bremer. Our account manager gave me some incorrect information about services available (in writing, I have the receipts). He then apparently forgot to let me know that he had learned they didn’t actually offer the service we had made arrangements to set up. So when I reached out 2 months later and the day before we had arranged for this service to begin, I was told they actually don’t offer the service…”I thought I told you but I guess I didn’t”, and essentially fixing it was my responsibility. Because we had done 2 months of planning and arrangement-making based on faulty information, this could actually have legal ramifications for the organization. I reached out to a supervisor to see what they could do to help remedy the situation and never heard back. Moral of the story: if you bank with Bremer, don’t trust the info given by your account manager at face value, and know that they are not willing to help when their mistakes have consequences for you. Look for a credit union.

Tried to open a business checking account and was told I didn't have the correct paperwork from the MN secretary of state, which I did since I walked 100ft to the Wells Fargo and opened an account in 10min.

No support at all for small businesses!! Was a customer for several years.
