This is one of my favorite parks in the twin cities area. The fact that the park incorporates so much art is phenomenal and the park has amazing, accessible trails through lots of different types of trees. Come back in different seasons, this is going to make you happy.

There is ample parking, the trails are very clean, there are grills, and lots of benches to sit on throughout the preserve to admire nature or rest during a walk. The trails/paths are not difficult to walk. The trails are mainly flat, paved, but there are a few small inclines. The Lake is a great addition to the preserve park too. There are a few areas with docks that you can sit and enjoy the view and/or fish. You can also go inside the visitor center during open hours. There is music in the park and events in the summer. I noticed that someone had a drone and those are not allowed at this park. The park ranger asked the person to leave. Otherwise, it's a great place to walk your dog, enjoy a walk/run, and it's a peaceful environment to bring your family. There is art displayed throughout the preserve, which adds to the scenery. I have seen engagement photos, various family photo shoots, and senior pictures taken here too. If you can catch a glimpse of the sunset on the lake, it's a great photo opportunity as well.

Very nice park with sculptures, bridge to middle of lake, and small convention center. It is swimmable in the summer and good place to snowshoe in the winter. Worth a family visit.

It's a perfect place to watch the twilight at nightfall, very quiet despite being an urban park, the best thing is that we were not bitten by mosquitos.

I had my wedding here, it is gorgeous in the summer! Great patio for a ceremony, and beautiful indoor space for the reception. They are affordable too!

There is a nice network of paths in this park. What a wonderful park. There are a great many sculptures all around the park, which really sets this park apart from most. If you are lucky, you may see the geese walking on the lake or a great horned owl. There is also a cafe serving coffees and sandwiches!

I had no idea this park existed until recently. There are trails all around the park (make sure to walk by the lake) with plenty of picnic tables all over. There is a sculpture walk I have yet to take advantage of but looks interactive since there are codes . They also have live outdoor music in the park on certain nights and other programs offered through 3 Rivers Parks. There is a cafe with a fairly large selection of fun coffee and snacks, unexpected for the size of the park. They also rent their large beautiful back room for events. Photos of venue from Lauren Baker Photography. Go for the sunset Yoga too!

Outdoors just doesn't get any better than this. A beautiful park right in our city. Boating, swimming, walking, nature, music, events....it's all here at Silverwood Park.

I haven't been here in over a year. Silverwood is a great park. It has a good length loop, and various shortcuts if you need them (or your dog, like Roxy who can't make it so far). Alongside the trails are various artworks. The main park building has a small cafe and and some exhibits.

The Art is spectacular here. I came for an exhibit and was there to view friends work. Now i return all the time. There is plenty to view and enjoy all around this park. Birds sculptures art is everywhere.
The free library is perfectly located and the art space/ indoor venue is stunning

This is my favorite park/place to go to. They have a beach, trails, lake, and even a small island. The videos were taken on the island. The wildlife is friendly but I do not advise on reaching out. They also have very spectacular birds. I will post a second review this summer with more photos.
The park also host events, including weddings, concerts, performances, art exhibits and more! Such a beautiful park. It's my go to place to relax, enjoy nature, picnic, and have fun.

Hidden Gem! Three Rivers Parks has made impressive investments in the park and the art related programming. The facilities and the scenery are top notch and really enjoyable. Exploring the park, the trails, the art installations and the island is a fun experience. Highly recommend. Great food and drink offerings in the cafe too.

Lovely urban park, great for a nice walk. Easy to spot the owl at this time of year.

This is beautiful little park with well maintained pathways around the woods and lake. Even though it's not very big, the trail loop brings you through all parts of the park and that includes a bridge that takes you out to an island in Silver Lake. They have scenic benches, picnic tables, and grills in the park as well. There are art installations scattered around the park that you can stop and admire. The park service hosts plenty of free community activities - like music in the park which I've attended too. The visitor center is right in the center of the park and has a cafe and public bathrooms.

Fantastic park in St Anthony Mn. Many areas to enjoy, picnic areas, pavilions, an indoor great hall and exhibit area. Wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon and a swimming beach for the kids.

Love Silverwood. Newly landscaped island. The trail around is about 1.5 miles. They have a shelter with picnic tables you can't rent. Pretty place to fish. The paths have sculptures around that you can interact with. Family friendly. Runners. Walking. Pets. Fishing.

I absolutely love this park and would recommend it 100%. The entire park is kept nicely and very clean, but not a great fishing spot. It's also nice to be able to rent a canoe or boat to take out into the water, and has a great building for receptions, weddings, and prom and such. Additionally, the building has a café inside and also hosts craft shows and such there.

As a photographer I have had lots of great shoots here. So many options from a more manicured look on the pathway, to lake backdrops, or field with grasses. This park has it all. These features are on the west side so you can back light during the evening golden hour. Parking is ample and nearby. There are often multiple photographers around. We have never had a problem with working around each other.

Went there for day two of Pokemon Go Fest last weekend and was verry happy with my experience there. As a player, lots of Gyms, Stops and Routes. As a walker, many wonderfull trails with various scultpures and things to enjoy. It looks like they have a number of programs to participate in as well.
