Limu Coffee

My review is strictly for the coffee. It's smooth, rich and delicious. I bought a bag of beans. The atomosphere is nice, the patrons were friendly but I didn't want to hang out there. This location has a drive thru. None of the pastries are made in house so I did not try them.

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in are calm, inviting, small, and lovely. Slow and I love that. It makes you feel good to walk in there to enjoy or grab your coffee, theres multiple tables and a great seating area. They sell the coffee beans, books, and have a menu that you can choose your flavors to add to your coffee. The coffee itself is smooth and not strong or delicate , it’s juss right. I love it here. It’s a small shop, and I wish their hours were more expanded but otherwise it’s sucha lovely unique coffee place. I think alotta people enjoy it too🖼🌻☕ I get the cherry white chocolate hot mocha and it’s so delicious ,🌹🎀💝 the lady and man are so nice too. They run it by themselves I think cause iv never seen anyone else in there helping.

An absolutely lovely coffee shop.
Clean and pleasant with soft jazz playing, I tried the baklava, which was excellent. Flaky and flavorful, but not too sweet.
There is a true entrepreneurial spirit to the owner and the story of the shop that motivates you to cheer for the place.
I noticed a book by a local New Brighton author on a side table for sale as well, and I loved to see the support for the local community.

Limu coffee has replaced Caribou Coffee for me. The vanilla white mocha is very sweet and good just how I like it. The owner is so sweet I want to keep coming here and support her and her business. She is a coffee enthusiast and is getting me into coffee as well where now I find myself drinking just black coffee. Definitely come to this little coffee shop.

Update: BEST iced mocha I've ever had. It's a coffee and pastry kind of place.

Stopped by on a long bike ride for a pick-me-up. Ordered double shot espresso and baklava. The espresso was very good and so was the pastry (though very rich — consider sharing). The barista was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. Everything was very reasonably priced. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our rides.

Fresh baklava. She will warm it up for you before serving it - make sure to get it warm! Soooo good! Go here for this, if nothing else! The owner is amazingly friendly and you can tell that she has regulars that she knows on a personal basis, she strikes a convo with basically everyone that walks in the door. Such a warm atmosphere!

This is a very cute and cozy Ethiopian coffee shop where the proprietor is as sweet at the muffins. I highly recommend it!

Excellent coffee shop! Choose your flavors and it's satisfying. It's definitely a different type of coffee but coffee is coffee. You can ask to get an extra shot of espresso. You can get different flavors as well. On top of that, there's a drive thru! Prices are extremely reasonable. Employee was nice. The location is easy to get to and parking is easy since it's a shared lot with other local businesses too. Definitely support your local businesses!

Awesome place to get a good coffee and decent seating for the size. Great muffins too. Always make it a habit to stop when I drop off mail or get Dominos!

Lovely little cozy place. I am moving and needed coffee real bad! They have great quality coffee and espresso and the girl who took and made my order was super sweet! Highly recommend for meetings or just a place to work!

Great coffee shop! I got a large latte w/ almond milk and it was fabulous! I also bought Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans which I have not seen at many places. 5 stars!

Impressed with the wide selection of drinks and treats! Got a frosted mocha and hot chai this time; both are perfectly sweet (not overly sweet). Will definitely be back!

Had a great time here at the coffee shop and chatting with the barista. They have ethiopian theme and organic coffee beans from ethiopia. The service was marvelous and the barista did his best to deliver the drinks. They also do not cheap out on any of their product where they use high quality goods. Very very clean and friendly service!!!!

All I can say is wow. I've been searching for a good coffee shop in the area when I travel here, and this is the one. I had the dark roast and all I can say is it was brewed to perfection. Nothing better than starting the day with the perfect cup of coffee!

I recently started visiting this cafe for my in person networking meetings. I really enjoy this shop. The owner is so friendly and kind. Everything I've gotten is amazing, but the espresso drinks are my favorite. It's the perfect place to visit if you want a friendly atmosphere with delicious treats, while supporting a local BIPOC owned business

The best coffee and espresso I have had in months

The proprietor is a gentleman a connoisseur of coffee and culture.

The best coffee shop in New Brighton and surrounding burbs. Brownies there are yummy. Service is spectacular, the owner doesn't know "can't do that". How you like it is how you get it!

Chai latte was very sweet but a bit bland. The Dark mocha coffee was flavorful with rich intense chocolate flavor. The baklava heated was wonderful. Atmosphere was quiet, comfortable. A back area was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the hum of conversation in the main area while we chatted by the chess table and watched squirrels outside.
