Marathon Gas

Perfect place to come if you are feeling down. I was in a bad mood after having an overcooked steak at Ruth's Chris, my massage therapist cancelled on me, and I had to pay $400 for an oil change in my Porsche! I came here and immediately felt grateful that my problems are nothing compared to all the social issues the employees here have which makes them so grumpy and I was reminded how thankful I should be to live in a country that gives me choices! Thank you, Marathon! I'll be sending my kids your way when they start complaining about the challenges of life!

On Saturday November 12th, 2016 at 6:26 pm my parents were lost and didn't have their cell phones. They stopped at this store and the gentleman behind the counter (so sorry I didn't get his name) was amazingly helpful! He helped my parents call me, welcomed them to wait there for me and allowed me to leave my car for a short period while I got them to where they needed to be. I can not describe how helpful, polite and sweet this man was and how he helped my frustrated parents be more at ease.

We've had situations before where my parents have stopped places to use the phone or get directions and have been rejected and turned away. This man took them under his wing and I am so grateful!

This is what customer service should be. Thank you!

Well he dont disrespect me and i go kinda everyday . and I never seen him disrespect anybody at all . so ima give this store 5 stars .

Takes thirty minutes to pump $40 worth of gas because the pump is unbelievably slow. Literally the slowest pump I’ve ever encountered. The meter was barely turning. Does anyone manage this place? Seriously how are you still in business? Have some pride.

Pump number 6 is slow down to a trickle. Pump number 4 wouldn't read my credit card. When I was in line to pay at the attendant, the lady in front of me was advising that pump number 10 was leaking. The place is falling apart and one spark away from being in the news.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. The cashier who’s always there “Adam” I believe is his name. He is not pleasant. Never smiles or says a word, even when you offer him a thank you. Went in there just now and got 4 bottled drinks and 2 gallons of milk and he didn’t even offer me a bag, I had to ask for one. Then had to bag my own beverages as the person behind me waited. Absolutely awful experience everytime I come here. I will drive over twice the distance to the Speedway on 394 to avoid this place.

This place is a joke. The store smells like mold, the pumps leak, they have credit card skimmers on their pumps, the people working literally don't say a word to you. I will happily drive 3 times the distance to go anywhere else. Avoid at all costs!

I never thought I'd be writing a review for a gas station, but this place is just SO BAD. Filters in the pumps were so filthy that it took nearly 20 minutes to fill our tank, and when it was finally full the gas overflowed instead of shutting off automatically. Gas spilled everywhere and ruined our shoes. The attendant didn't care, and the owner has failed to respond. Go literally anywhere else.

Absolutely terrible. Everything looks old and expired. You'd be lucky to get a hello. I had to do customer relations with the attendant...yet I'M THE CUSTOMER.

He, the person working, clearly didn't want to be there. He had glasses and barely spoke a word. He's horrible at the job.

Don't eat any of the foods. Most likely they're expired. Don't look behind the counters either. Chances are there's mice

Hands down the worst gas station in the country. Broken pumps, fault equipment, slow…. I think Marathons Regional Sales manager is either dead or not working or Marathon doesn’t care as I’ve complained to corporate numerous times! What a joke this place is.

Had my CC info taken by this gas station. I was asked by guy behind counter to hand him my card for him to scan; first flag. He partially dipped behind the counter wall, which seemed odd; second flag. I even noted to myself how long it took to run my card; third flag. The next day I had fraudulent charges on my CC. This was an anomaly for me to stop at this place and get a Gatorade, but it was convenient and on my way home. I will NEVER stop here again and actively advise people to not go here. Use the SuperAmerica a couple blocks down on Minnetonka Blvd and Dakota.
