Great hardware store. They can copy even hard to find keys. Super helpful staff. Prices on point with other smaller hardware stores. This place has saved my butt a few times with obscure items I can’t find elsewhere

The staff is extremely helpful and they have a wonderful selection of items. I truly love supporting locally owned businesses that treat their customers as well as Hance Hardware. This was my first experience here as I'm new to Hopkins although this is definitely not my last. Highly recommend!

The best hardware store ever!!! Everything you need without endless isles, staff who is friendly and recognises when you need assistance, the best garden center Ace has to offer! This gem is worth the trip and has the best small town feel.

Hance is a classic small town style hardware store. Their stock is deep for the things you will need.

Ace hardware is always a joy to pick up items because there is always an employee around to help find an item. Compared to worthless Home Depot it is always worth the little extra money paid for an item when you can get in and out so quickly.

This is a friendly neighborhood hardware store right in the heart of Hopkins downtown. I come here occasionally to grab small replacement parts for plumbing and electrical work. The key service is also much cheaper than Menards. Also mentioning that the staff is incredibly nice and helpful.

These folks always have a solution for my problem. Great little store! Be sure to pet the kitty :)

A real treasure- it’s stores like this that remind you of what customer service truly is.
I stopped in this afternoon and had someone helping me within seconds. Not only did they have the uncommon hardware piece I was looking for, they knew exactly what I wanted from my lousy, non-technical description. They even took it off the shelf for me. Good luck finding similar service like that at a box box retailer (take your pick). I was in and out in minutes and they completely made my day!

Wow, Pete, Jake and the others are all so helpful, Petes family has owned since 1964. The service and knowledge is high, the prices are moderate.

I recently moved to Hopkins from the inner city, and this week my folks came to see my new place. Dad and I stopped at this ACE to grab a few essentials and he was really impressed with the service. Dad is a life long rewards member and hails from a small charming town in Wisconsin where employees greet you by name at the door, so when he was singing this location’s praises all the way back to my house, I knew it was time to hop on google and write a review. For the record I feel the same way. I did some shopping here a week ago and it felt like a classic ACE with no detail overlooked. I feel fortunate to have quick access to this business, and I’ll be returning often.

The best hardware store in America. Wonderful and helpful staff and if they don't have it, you probably won't find it anywhere. Great selection of everyday things as well as a lot of cool more obscure products.

Good local business. The employees definitely know their stuff and are always willing to help. Go here before you go to a big box, soulless hardware emporium.

Very helpful! I had a pipe thread mismatch and the service desk cut new threads onto the pipe for my fuel transfer pump so I could get the hose attached properly. Did a great job and he was very cheerful in helping me out. Thanks again!
