Alright, first of the prices are high. Not a go to store to save money. That being said, the selection is great! Lots of great finds here, and the garden center is neat!

What really shines here is the bird feeders, bird seed, and that selection of soda in front. I think they got a better selection of pop (and better prices for it) than the blue sky soda place not far from here.

I like this store for the uniqueness, and selection, but little bit of a sticker shock on some of the regular items you can get anywhere else.

I love Beisswenger's! It's the best hardware store in the world, as near as I can tell! They've never been short of whatever weird thing I've needed.

...Well, ok, they don't stock M9 bolts and nuts... If you need those, you'll have to get them from the manufacturer. Or something. But they helped me come up with an alternative that works.

So lucky to live close to this gem. Staff could not be better. Always someone friendly and helpful within an aisle or two. My kids squeal when I say we need to go. Fairy garden. Dinosaurs. And a BBQ lover's dream of sauce, seasonings, and smoking chips selection. Also, sodas. Some amazing employee spent at least 20 min the other day analyzing the toilet flappers to make sure I got the right one. Life saver.

Great place to get most things for a weekend project. They aren't the cheapest place in town, but their staff knows a lot more than just where something is in an aisle. Basically I am saying if you need a little help because you are like me and have working knowledge of house repairs and need a little push in the right direction, this is the place to go.

This hardware store has to be the most impressive hardware store I've ever know to exist. They have everything and some, they do same day glass cutting. Will be going back when I have a hrs or 2 to burn and still won't be enough time!

We were hauling a boat home to Mentor, MN and blew a tire on 694 pulled off and happened to find this GEM of a Hardware Store. They had everything and the staff were so friendly! I will make a side stop when we are in the Metro area next time!

Best old fashioned hardware and everything else store around. All these years I've lived in the twin cities and never heard of it until I made some new friends who all were familiar with it. Great just to explore. The personnel are so helpful and friendly and know exactly how to help you or direct you to the exact location within the store. Loved tge experience.

Service department is just fantastic.
They have some of the coolest selection BBQ spices, toys, grills, smokers!
I set aside money when I purchased a house to buy a big Honda snowblower. There wasn't even a question where I was going to buy it.
I've taken my Honda lawnmower here for service.
Having a random dinner party is still a good excuse to stop here and pick up some unique old timey soda pop and root beer from the massive selection.

Everyone was so helpful a place I will go again and the bottle pop is so good I wish more places had bottle pop I only took 1 picture but so much more pop then this even picked out the 6 i wanted😍 I need to go back and get more

They always have what I need. This time it was furnace filters and indoor florescent lights, along with service people who refuse to let me buy "wrong." I might pay a tad bit more, but I'm only making one trip, and that's because they make sure I head to the register with the right item. Jim always steers me right and does it with a smile. Been my hardware store since 1989.

Great hardware store with a very local vibe. It's actually a fun place to take my toddler to look at all the awesome Fairy Garden decorations.

Great customer service, wonderful outdoor section, awesome fairy garden section, and individual items for household projects.

Old school. Knowledgeable folks who can usually make you laugh. Also, great spot to snag MN made gifts and treats for the kids.

Competent and wonderful sales people make this hardware store one of my all time favorites. Huge store, and well stocked.

Awesome local hardware and outdoor improvement store. By far the best grilling section of any store I’ve been too. Much better selection and price than big box stores. Very convenient and safe location. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be back, too soon, to spend too much money.

Beisswenger's carries a wide selection of items and some of them are surprising which makes this a fun store to explore. I especially like the almost life-size dinosaurs in the garden shop (and the Big Foot statue). They carry everything you could want for backyard birdfeeding/watching, many many grills and smokers (with accessories), power tools, a full selection of gardening tools and plants and much much more. This is my favorite hardware store and I am happy it is nearby.

23FEB2023 tip: When purchasing a 55 cent o-ring to repair your leaking sink faucet, buy several sizes from what "seems right" to "that's probably too small". After two round trips and 3 sizes it was the "too small" that proved to be just right... actually quite snug, but it no longer leaks.

I've been a loyal customer here for nearly 40 years. They have everything. My 70-year-old house has some old French doors and original hardware, all nicely rusted and nearly impossible to find replacements for online and not available at all at major big box hardware stores. Beisswengers had a replacement that fit perfectly. I love this place!
