Menards

I have shopped at Menards for close to 30 years now. I'm not stopping anytime soon. The West 7th Menards is a newly re-formatted store, and often still has stock when other Menards have long run out. The staff is always helpful and friendly here, and it seems they genuinely enjoy working here. Thankfully, the Black Friday deals have been extended to a 10 day sale, reducing the enormous crowds on Black Friday. When I was walking out of the store today, a guy with a backpack ran by me in the parking lot, followed by a security guard! As I was watching, the dude dumped half of his backpack, which was loaded with tools, then kept running with the security guard in hot pursuit. I picked up all the tools, and return them into the store. Tis the season. That security guard was determined to not let that guy go.

Do yourself a favor, just go here first.

I had a fantastic experience here shopping for kitchen counters this weekend. I have been in customer service for 35 years. I know a good store rep when I find one. Janeen engaged thoughtfully and helped me solve a long standing space issue with some out of the box thinking. She knows her stuff and is an absolute delight to work with. Overall the store has fantastic staffing, it's well stocked, & clean. I applaud how well managed it is. Customer service knocked it out of the park compared to the other stores I visited and they had everything I needed, even the butter I forgot at the grocery store. ❤ 👏👏👏

I usually go to Menards, over Depot or Lowes. It is easier to find items. Don't feel overwhelmed with sky-high shelvings. Slightly lower prices and quality in comparison (depending on what you get), but good value for the average person. It's like a Walmart to a Target, gets the job done without pretending to be poshy

I had an associate by the name of Anthony help me with finding some bait stations and he went above and beyond finding them for me. He was really nice and was really helpful.

I usually get stuff for our pets here, plus all sorts of home improvement stuff.

I had a wonderful time I spent 70 bucks I got the 11% rebate

Large location with plenty of stock in EVERY department (including seasonal) They electrical and paint areas are great.

All the employees were very helpful. Also, the cashier had an upbeat and positive attitude even though we had to split our materials into 4 different purchases. Even though I felt bad, she kept a smile on.

I've been going to the store for over 20 years and this store has anything and everything you need. Friendly and courteous staff. I recommend this store to everyone.

I could hang out there all day. So much good stuff at good prices. Extra bonus-- you can always retrieve a purchase receipt in-store

The store is clean. The staff are friendly. They need more price scanners. They should carry Hue smart lighting products and some big name wired and wireless security cams. They have smaller, lesser known brands for those items instead.

Great place to get stuff for your home people that work there seem very knowledgeable. I ordered some stuff and I had Jim help me and he was very nice and knowledgeable

I ordered some countertops here from my office. They had a great selection of laminate, quarts and granite. The staff was friendly and helpful. When it came time to order I was very nervous about making sure I had the right size and fit for our L-shaped counters. The staff were very knowledgeable. The order came is super fast and it looked great.

I went to buy 4' folding table that was on sale $39.99 down to $29.99.
They were plenty of them, marked well.

I needed a shower curtain and a friend recommended Menards! I didn't consider this store would have many to choose from. But I was surprised! Menards carries lots of shower curtains and a huge variety of products for bed, bath, and beyond!!!

Always good. Not always in stock. Mucho, mucho better pricing than Home Depot

They had what we were looking for a good prices. They have decent inventory of what the advertise. They always have enough stuff to keep us coming back. Great stock of food items!!

I mistakenly got the wrong screws for a project I was working on. When I arrived, there was a long line to return/exchange but within two minutes Customer Service was staffed up to three, helping cutomers and quickly I was being helped. Great job!

This has got to be my favorite store (this and Hobby Lobby) to me it's better than Target. My favorite part about Menards is Christmas time when they have all the different types of Christmas tree's they sell up in a nice display. Every time I'm there I always walk through it because it always makes me happy!

I wanted to share a great experience I had at Menards. I selected a 50 gallon Richmond water heater and paid to have it delivered. The water heater was delivered the next day and I signed the release for the water heater saying there was no damage. I left the water heater in the box so it would be easier to carry down the stairs and received an unpleasant surprise when we opened it. The water heater had a huge 6 inch wide dent that was about an inch deep. I felt like an idiot because I should have opened the box and checked it before the delivery driver left. I called Menards and I sent them a picture of the damage. I really thought because I signed the delivery that I would be stuck with the damaged water heater. However, Heather, Kyle, and Jesse all agreed that the damage shown in the picture was very serious and may have actually damaged the internal tank. The next day a new water heater was shipped over to our house and the dented one was removed. Jesse at Menards actually opened this unit, before prepping it for delivery, to make sure it was in good shape and we also found it be perfect after removing the packaging. The water heater is now installed and working great. The customer service experience we received was great and will also make sure to shop at this location.
