Half Price Books

Any bookstore gets a high rating in my opinion. Inventory always changes so you never know what you'll find day to day. They also have records, cassettes, CDs, movies and random fun trinkets. A great place to shop for gifts for that loved one who's smart or nerdy. And all of them I've been to roughly the same and this one ain't no different.

Haven't been in awhile and went last night to get some new books for myself and the kid. We weren't disappointed with the huge selection.

I didn't think I would find what I was looking for and I was only half right. I found about 12 books I wasn't initially looking for, but couldn't leave behind. The only problem with that? I live in Phoenix and had to make room in my luggage, at Christmas 😂 Great staff and even the other customers were helping me look. 👍

I always enjoy going to Half Price Books. I go to this one most frequently because of the location for me but all of them have been great. I've had good luck with the service here. There's always a big selection of items including books, games, videos, albums, and more. Personally, I always check out the clearance section in the back first, but the sections are well-marked so you can find what you're looking for quickly.

You can lose yourself for hours in here....plus...the prices are actually pretty good. Lots to choose from. They also tons of old video games...as well as a fair amount of DVD's.

I have found so many books and mangas. This is my favorite one to visit cause it has such a huge selection to pick from. Definitely recommend going here.

Lots to look at and a good place to sell books of you don't want to sell them online and deal with shipping.

I love old books, used books and stores like this one. I could spend all day looking and reading in a store like this. Lots to offer, including books, CDs, record albums, and DVDs.

This was my first time to this store! I LOVED it...literally had to make myself go to check out. So many different genres, new, used, clearance...and not just books....board games, video games, magazines...and more! Sorry, but SO MUCH cheaper than Barnes N Noble. Sigh...I could live there. 😆

Great place to kill time that has books that are of interest.

This is a group of eclectic and wonder people here! The vintage employed reminisced over the caribou next door being gone and it was awesome! Everybody had great suggestions for books to read and was so excited to help. I love THIS location 100% my fav of all of them

I enjoy spending time browsing the books, movies, and music. They often have what I am looking for. What I like the most is finding a rare item for my collection. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. Would love if they could find a way to add a small coffee bar with chairs.

One of my favorite stores! Great selection. Knowledgeable staff. Good customer service. I can always find several books I never knew I needed without breaking the bank!!! Highly recommend.

Stopped in while waiting for dinner reservations at outback. Found these 5 books on clearance, $3 each! $15 for five hardcover #1 top authors books. Yes!!! I'm prepared for the shutdown. Need lots of books to read. Visit your local bookstores. A+

Arguably one of the most underrated bookstores of all time. It has plethoras of books spanning every major topic, including books you'd find in a Barnes and Noble, only the books are at much cheaper prices. There are books I've bought from Half Price books that cost $5 and at Barnes and Noble cost $25-$30.

Also nice and welcoming environment.

I visited HPB recently with my excited 9 year old and very unhappy 4 year old who cried the minute we walked in the store. We made our way to the kids section and were greeted by and employee and her puppet dog eager to cheer up my crying kid. I wish I had caught her name, but she was so helpful! She had great book recommendations for my 9 year old and even checked to see if a book I was interested in was available. Thanos to the employees help I was able to purchase several books instead of leaving empty handed with 2 upset kids.

Love the ability to find books on the website and have them shipped to my local HPB store! Not a great place to sell your books but, you can take advantage of the website and eliminate looking by hand for a specific book.
