Well, they hired my sisters son in law and believe me, the owner has no idea what a lucky guy he is to have Scott, N. Working for him. He is an extremely honest, hard working, a little OCD guy. He’s family is perfect all around and please people treat him nice. He’s as sharp as a tack so don’t pull anything funny on him.

Truly the best liquor store, such a gem in Shoreview here. Unbelievable selection, we've come in looking for some curve balls and they nearly always have it. The staff are always kind and knowledgeable and their wine recommendations are consistently spot on. Always buy the wine with a hand written recommendation in front of it—never fails!

Easy to stop in on the way home from work, excellent selection of wine, the staff is very knowledgeable in pairing the right bottle to my dinner menu's. Love the positive energy in the store, and the friendly greetings - appreciate them having staff to carry my purchase out to my car. Reminds me of the small town personal customer service with the cities competitive pricing and large selections.

I appreciate that Jim's liquor carries I really good variety. I love the hard kombucha because it does not have as many calories or carbs. The fact that they carry organic wine is amazing. The store owner is courteous and helpful he's always very kind to me with carrying things out to the car. I've asked about caring different wine selections that are organic and he's been completely open to discussion and in checking into it.

Great local craft beer selection! We moved to the area from South Mpls and we're very happy to still have a good local shop nearby instead of just all the big chains. Prices were great.

The staff and their beer knowledge is a reason to go there. They've got a great beer selection for being a small shop, they get in new beers regularly, and all the staff has usually tried everything and are very honest about what they think of the beers. They've never recommended a bad beer, and it's right up the street from me. I'm happy!
