I love this location & Life Time in general! I joined only a few months ago and it already feels like a second home. Only request / area of opportunity would be for more plant-based (high-protein) options in the cafe, pretty please 😀

This is a review of the Lifespa and the Gold Plus level Lifetime Fitness club behind it. In addition I can tell you a thing or two about some of the fitness trainers there, based on where you want to go. But for that you have to ask me a question specifically. But, I can give you the secret to success, seek your Healthy Rewards and make it as fun and interesting for your brain as possible, since it's your brain that will decide how often you go to the gym.
Now, let's get on to the review. This gym has the full spectrum high-end gym requirements that any person could want. It has plenty of barbells, stations, machines, free weights, powerlifting stations, yoga mats, more machines. A track an indoor swimming pool water classes and an outdoor pool. Indoor basketball courts, indoor tennis courts, outdoor tennis courts, racquetball courts. It has a Life Cafe with tons of delicious protein and good carb food choices that are delicious and therefore easily absorbed because you're enjoying it. If you want this 'fitness stuff' to work you have to find your fun. If it's not fun you won't engage with it on a mental Mind Body experience which is what It ultimately takes to get the best outcome. Not only that, but if your brain doesn't find it fun, your brain will find something else to do other than going to the gym. This concludes the review of the gym itself.
LIFE SPA is a full spa attached to the gym, with a sauna, steam room and hot tub in both men's and women's locker rooms, towels and showers. It has Barber services, manicure, pedicure and who knows what fancy treatments. You'll have to ask them, I'm a guy. They also have massage therapy, which is absolutely necessary to any intensive workout regimen if you plan on getting your maximum benefit in the shortest time. If you're buying protein powders and holding to a regimen- then I'm talking to you. If you're not getting massage then you are missing about $160 a month of body tuning done with some semi-sadistic deep tissue fascial rip specialist, like my man Greg. I do an advanced yoga, Tai Chi, and kettlebell practice. Because this is what my brain enjoys. Currently I'm up in the ante, with focused kettlebell training twice a week with alex, the 'Jack LaLane' of kettlebell here in this part of the city. To get the most out of this training I also receive 4 massages a month or roughly one a week. As a VIP services member I get a discount. Without the massages, I would lose about 25% of my potential benefit from this intensive and not inexpensive professional kettlebell training regimen. The Life Spa staff is very attentive mindful and a good reminder source for all of your scheduled services. You could pay more and get less, elsewhere. I recommend combining it with a club membership and just making it your thing. As I see it, you can either line your coffin with money because you didn't take care of your self, or you can invest the money in taking care of your self. I know which choice I am making.

Joseph at the Lifespa is a life saver. I was getting my workout in and had a big client opportunity I needed to get right for. I was leaving the gym and was literally rushing to google barbershops so I could rush to get a haircut done before appointment with client. As I was walking out I caught a glimpse of Lifespa and stopped in my tracks. I walked in asking if they had availability and I was surprised that they did! Joseph did such a great job with the haircut. He really takes pride in his craft. Not only that but his customer service was phenomenal. Sets the standard with his care and his questions to make sure things are going how I wanted them to. Crazy to think I may be looking to get my haircuts at Lifetime moving forward but he definitely earned it with a job well done and a great experience.

I love this location and LifeTime in general. I see a lot of negativity about the cleanliness, although I've always had a pleasant and clean experience in the locker room and out on the floor. As for some people not liking the "attitudes" of people at the desk...get over yourself lol. Great place to work out!

This is a gem of a Life Time club. It is spacious & open, so it always feels comfortable. There are a lot of spaces to work in in and around the cafe. The childcare is wonderful. The fitness classes have great instructors and are very social. The locker rooms are really nice & well maintained. The staff is super friendly. The pools indoors & outdoors are very nice. I'm surprised it isn't a higher level club given how nice it is.

One of my favorite locations in the metro, large and spaced out facility that doesn't feel cramped, plenty of equipment, tons of room in the locker rooms so you aren't smashed right next to someone else. And best of all, clean! Several other locations you can tell they don't take the pride this location does in the detail of keeping everything from the showers, locker rooms to the equipment in the best shape as possible. I have 2 locations closer to me, but still drive to this one and will continue to. Thanks!

I have been a member at the Fridley location for some time. I am so impressed with the front desk staff. They greet me like I am an old friend. When they see me coming, they are already getting protective gloves for me to wear. They wow me every time. Particular staff of mention are Tanya, Calli, and the front supervisor (not sure of her name-sorry). I used to go to another well know club, however, my experience was that the staff would hardly look up from their phones at check-in. Oh, I should mention that I had a troubling experience in the parking lot, and the Lifetime front desk staff/supervisor handled it superbly. Exemplary customer service is all I can say!

Love my experience with this club! Such great people that work there! Carissa B great class GREAT fun energy, Denise S helpful with modifications and super well run class - great sense of humor too!, I don't know his name but the guy at the front desk in the early (6AM) mornings on weekdays - its not easy to be welcoming and nice that early in the morning - thank you whatever your name is!

Great gym! It's a little on the pricey side I think, but the amenities are there, definitely. They upgraded and repaired the steam room, which is great since it needed repair. Most, if not all of the clientele is great and the equipment and locker rooms are always very clean. I come for the pool to get 95% of my exercise and it is almost always spotless although they should definitely have someone skim it a little better between rushes. The only thing I would change are the hours for the outdoor pool. I get it, it's dark. But I'm paying quite a bit of money and I work in restaurants. Every once in a while I want to take in a night swim outside. I don't think that's too much to ask, right? I'd even sign a waiver if that's what it took.

Great experience at this gym. Ton of workout equipment, sports space like indoor and outdoor swimming, basketball, racket ball, tennis, yoga etc. Staff is friendly and no contract scams for personal training. Facility is very clean. Its more expensive compared to other gyms but reasonable if you count the facilities and service they provide.

I love this gym. The front desk workers are polite & quick, the group fitness teachers are knowledgeable & fun, the cleaning crew is helpful & hard working and the cafe staff is friendly. The group fitness options are great (and free with membership). The gym & woman's locker room are huge and kept clean. I love the food offered at the cafe; I get my dinner to-go frequently.

I was a life-guard at a community center for 5 years, so I can be rather picky about clubs and their staff. I am happily paying $20 more per month for this club over the one I left (crap tiny strip mall gym that I hated going to).

I've been a member since 2010, and there have always been curtains in the woman's showers. I cannot speak for the men's or family locker rooms though...

This has my by far been my best choice in a gym. The staff are super nice and helpful, very friendly atmosphere. The gym is kept very clean and there is more than enough equipment to cover all members. There is an area for children. I have seen children participating in events in other areas like on the basketball court. Teens have the same choices as adults from using the equipment to taking the classes. Cannot share enough positive sentiments about this Lifetime.

This is a Gold-level location-- 2 out of Lifetime's 5 tiers-- that is way nicer kept and has way more features than that level even should!

Been a member for about 2 years and could not be happier with the value we have gotten out of membership here. Tennis courts, two pools, two saunas and hot tubs, an indoor track, lots of Olympic weight-lifting pads and cable machines... Everything I can imagine needing.

It's busy on weeknights at 5-- like every gym in America-- but most other times, this place is so vast that you can find your own space and make use of high-quality, well-kept equipment.

Has every piece of equipment you would ever need, want. Staff is friendly, accomdative. Honestly wish the other clientele, would be more respectful of the club and its property... I mean how hard is it to put away a towel as you are leaving... Overall it's a good luxury club. Much better than LA fitness. It's wide open atmosphere, equipment is not shoved together like other places.

This is my favorite lifetime in the Twin Cities area out of clubs I have access to. Not full of juiceheads, great yoga teachers (Shina + Denise are the best!) a variety of classes, hot tub in the women's locker room, and it's usually quiet with respectful clientele who give you space while you do your workout.

Got a membership yesterday. Friendly staff. Large areas for working out. Interesting times for gyms during the pandemic, but their staff went above and beyond to clean the place and not bother people while we were working out. Keep up the good work and great processes!

Wow! This is the best club Ive ever belonged to. They have an indoor track, three pools, many group workout rooms, tennis, racquetball and pickleball courts and two large levels of equipment, as well as a steam room, sauna and whirlpool. Staff are constantly cleaning and disinfecting the floors, equipment and locker rooms. It's the cleanest club I've ever belonged to. I highly recommend Life Time Fitness.

I'm on vacation on a holiday weekend. This location had a full schedule of group exercise classes while a location closer to my hotel had canceled most of theirs. Instructor was great, just as I expected from Lifetime. This location seemed more down to earth and less elitist, had a more senior citizens and fewer ex-cheerleaders than the one at home. On a Saturday the indoor tennis courts empty, salon not busy, cafe had one customer.

Was over due for a haircut. I wanted a male to cut my hair 💇🏻‍♀ for once as I never had one and I got to know Joseph. He was so very good and a great head massage along with my hair wash. always had females cut my hair but it’s never close to my what I wanted for the past 20years of my life. Highly recommend. I’ll be back for sure. thank you.
