I made it home and I didn’t chance going to the dealership since it’s 45-minutes away. I put antifreeze in it…it was leaking right through and I made it to the great, nearby Lake Elmo Repair. They have always been so helpful doing various work with a smile and excellent service. I’ve never scheduled an appt, just drive there and they help me on the spot!! Just incredible, good hardworking people who really know their stuff!! AND a ton less than a dealership, especially when the car is out of warranty. On top of that, they provide a free rental car!! They replaced my water pump, timing chain and gasket valves lower cost than I expected!! Excellent communication throughout the process. 😊💯

Car had been making a concerning amount of noise while driving that made me worry that a complex fix was needed. Mike and Jacob were both very helpful in answering my questions and found the issue quickly - turns out it was a much simpler fix than I anticipated. Compared to the experiences I have had at dealerships in the past this was night and day. Appreciate the help very much.

Honest, down to earth professionals. I have dealt primarily with Lance and he with the rest of the crew working there have been wonderful to work with. I have brought my wife's vehicle there twice recently for two unrelated issues and both times I have received excellent service and tremendous value with the repairs I have had them do.

I would recommend them to anyone. It doesn't hurt either that they provide a loaner vehicle to drive for extended repairs so you don't have to rent a vehicle.

Mike and his team did a great job on my Impala. I needed a headlight fixed and my touch screen would not turn on. I originally called a GM store to ask what may be wrong, was told would need a new radio installed and would cost me $1,500! I decided to get my headlights fixed in Lake Elmo as I work down the road. Mike got me an appointment the next day. Headlights fixed and a simple disconnection of the battery and reattaching it reset my touch screen and saved me $1,500! I owe them a few more service appointments to make up for the savings! Great place and great work!

Our family has taken our cars to LERepair for over 20 years, which was before Mike bought the shop, about 10 years ago. We have always gotten great service. Mike is upfront about the cost of parts and labor and calls before work starts.

First time customer, had the oil change with tire rotating and inspection for 39.99 which I saw on Facebook. Worth it as they had some solid recommendations and helped me prioritize. Got some much needed NAPA windshield wipers as well.

These guys are great! Gave a call into the shop as my "Maint Reqd" light began to flash when I turned on my 2006 Toyota Camry; I wasn't sure what it could be. I spoke with Mike, the owner and he said to bring it in that night for a vehicle inspection.

Upon arriving, I was greeted at the front desk and spent some time talking with Mike about what I thought the issue might be. My best guess were the spark plugs needed to be replaced, but upon further inspection Mike found the trip odometer simply needed to be reset from my previous oil change. We live in Lake Elmo and have patronized this repair shop for many years. Recently they were able to diagnose and repair a rattling sound from the right rear of my 2007 Toyota Highlander after two different dealer repair shops were unable to figure out why the noise was present.

My emergency brake had not been working for some time and a dealer shop had quoted a very high price to repair it. Mike and his crew were able to do it at an affordable price and also determine that the loose emergency brake shoes were the cause of the rattle.
