Shar'els Cafe

We were both impressed stopping at Shar'els Cafe for the first time. It's a perfect place to meet friends for breakfast. Very easy access, with both tables and booths. The food was very good. We plan to return.

We have returned several times and have never been disappointed. A fortnight ago I brought a friend for lunch. She was impressed with her Philly sandwich and onion rings. I was equally pleased with my walleye sandwich.

Today we brought our almost 4 yo granddaughter. She was very well treated, and happy with her fries and ketchup.

Best hometown country cookin you can ask for on the Northside! Not only did they have the best Florentine Eggs Benedict 🍳… their staff is wonderful and so cheerful!

Very nice cozy cafe. The breakfast options are great. The biscuits were amazing and the pancakes were perfect.

We love coming here. Breakfast is great and the service is terrific. There is often a wait but well worth it. Good coffee, lively customers. It's a bit loud sometimes, still great for kiddos and seniors.

I found about this because my sister invited me and our cousin today for breakfast.
When I walked the atmosphere looked so comfy.
Our waitress was also very nice and awesome.

I ordered the Shar'els platter, the scramble eggs was good. Bacon cooked perfectly and the hashbrown was nice and golden brown well seasoned too. The toast is also great
My cousin and brother in law got the French Toast Combo and I was kinda jealous because it looked good. My sister got the eggs and potatoes and she enjoyed it.
The prices is a very good deal with how much portion of food you get.
Even if I live far away from this restaurant I see myself coming here again.

Absolutely delicious!! Oh my goodness. I had the French dip burger, which was absolutely fabulous. My daughter was blown way also. She had a breakfast sandwich, which was very good too. The potato salad was yummy and distinct-- not generic at all. Tasted very fresh. The pickles were homemade and fresh also. My mouth is watering just writing this review. Hands down recommend!

The atmosphere is homey and exactly the type of place I love and feel like I've stepped back in time a bit or going to a more rural/country restaurant with the warmth and quaintness that that provides. It was a nice rest/break from the hustle/bustle/pressure world outside.

We had late breakfast, and it was delicious. The menu had so much to offer , it was hard to decide. We will definitely be back. We do wish they had dinner hours, Early dinner and close at 6;00. We don't have a lot of restaurant in the area except for Burger King....and that's NOT dinner for us...nothing against Burger King. Please think about it. That was a major conversation at work. .You have excellent food but for those that work early, we can't stop and dine because you close at 2:00

Good place for breakfast food (that's what I've been there for) with your usual assortment of waffles, pancakes, meats, and heated beverages at decent prices. Decor is "Minnesota cabin" and cozy, with bookshelves full of read-at-hand paperbacks. Service was quick and friendly.

Food was great, people were friendly. How much better could it get😀. Had the lunch special fried chicken with gravy, cheese potatoes, and carrots. Very tasty and satisfying.

Back at Cheryl's Cafe for a chicken sandwich bacon with cheese potato salad and also there's a pancake combo with hash browns added with chocolate milk and a chocolate milkshake with chocolate always excellent I highly recommend you come and loosen your belt

Just like Home Cooking the skillet is fantastic, red potato american fries with onions and green peppers, choice of meat and two eggs and cheddar cheese over the top, what a meal with your choice of toast

This is a homey place for a cozy breakfast. The food was so quick and hearty and very, very, good. The coffee pot left on your table! Felt like eating at Gram's.

Very cute, family owned restaurant. Our server was excellent - he is a family member - and the portions are huge.

If you love eggs Benedict there's is the best! Stuffed hasbrowns are amazing! I love the fast friendly service 10 out of 10!

Great little mom and pops cafe. Was so surprised how good the food was. I'm a picky eater, and figured this would be just some good ol' hang over food. But nope, it's good hang over food that somehow was like the preverbial grandma's secret recipe! Like seriously, everything the wife and I had, like even the toast, was fantastic!

Very clean. Good food. Tables clean and dry. Great place for breakfast.

Where everyone knows your name after a visit or two. Small diner/Cafe. Not sure if I go for the great food or the phenomenal staff. I go with friends or solo, breakfast or lunch. FYI Get there by 1:30. Door closes at 2. My friend goes nuts for their stuffed hash browns. Their daily specials run out quickly. Made from scratch.

I have stopped here occasionally over the years and have always been happy with the food. Stopped here with my daughter this past Sunday just before 9 am. and got the last booth available. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our breakfasts were cooked perfectly and very, very generous portions. The small town cafe feel is the kind of vibe I like. Soon after 9 am there was a line of people going out the door waiting. Always a good sign when a restaurant has people waiting to get in. We will be returning soon. Highly recommended.

Wow! It was the best breakfast I've ever had at a café. Not even exaggerating. Everything was perfect. You will not be disappointed. Clean. Friendly. Fast. Large portions. Delicious!
