RAMA COCO AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING SALON

Went yesterday for natural hair cornrows. The space was beautifully decorated and smelled wonderful. Coco and her staff were very friendly and courteous. Coco listened to what I had in mind and did a wonderful job. Was in and out quickly. Will definitely be back.

So I went to this place for the very first time on Tuesday to get crochet braids. I was highly impressed. I was very comfortable and the owner is really patient and efficient! My braids were painless and she was done in 2 hours! I’m a definitely a loyal customer now. Thanks Coco!💕

I called Rama last minute to set up an appointment for medium mid back box braids. She was very accommodating and direct on what was expected and what came with the price. The shop is very nice and clean. The staff is so very friendly and hands down the best braiders around. I left feeling so beautiful and happy with my hair. Thank you so much Rama for everything!

I got this hair salon on google few days ago while searching for experienced and affordable hairstylists in the area and I’m very pleased for the great job they did on my daughter’s hair and my daughter also loves her hairstyle.

I had just started a new job and your appearance matters, but my hair was extremely short due to a big chop. It had grown about 1 and a half inches since April so I thought I would take my chance and try to see if someone can catch it. I googled hair braiding salons near me. She popped up. I visited the website (which is spectacular by the way), I was very intrigued. I needed to get it done right away on Saturday night and called her at 11: 55 pm. To my surprised she answered and was more than accommodating. We were able to step up appointment the next day for 4 in the afternoon. The experience was exceptional. She is warm inviting Lord and behold she was able to catch my short hair. My hair came out better than the picture I wanted. What is even more incredible than her actual gift of hair braiding is her customer service. Her demeanor is everything. I loved every moment of it. Just the atmosphere was different than I ever experienced in a salon. The rooms are design solely by her and are very clean and looked professional decorated. She is is my gift because it was by chance I found her and i'll never forget the spiritual talks we had. She moved me. I'm beyond elated with my results. I will be coming back. She has a customer for life.

If they had a 10 star I definitely would've gave them just that this was my first time going to this shop and I feel like I been going there for years they are all so respectful professional and friendly and I'm very tender headed but I didn't jump not once while getting my box braids because she dont braid tight at all and she braid very fast so I guess I found my new braiding shop for me and my daughters I love them I look at them like a family already I love you coco and everyone else in the shop love Candy 💯🙌🤗😘

I got my passion twists done here for the first time and they came out really nice! I loved them & have received so many compliments! Great customer service as well, definitely will be back for more styles!

I visited this salon for the first time today. I got two side French braids or what some people call Dutch braids. I loved the final look! I was impressed with Cocoa's attention to detail and even more impressed with how quickly she worked. I'm used to hairstylists starting late and then being in the chair for hours. I was in and out in like an hour. She was nice, the prices were reasonable and I will definitely be going again. Highly recommend.

I love Rama Coco's African Hair Braiding Salon! I got lemonade braids and they were so beautiful. Rama Coco really listens to you and what you want, and surrounds her salon with positive and warm vibes. I was able to get my hair done beautifully within a reasonable price, which Rama Coco is flexible about. All in all, I will be going again!

Hand down the best hair braider in NJ. She is attentive, listens to the client and delivers great results. Additionally, it was important for me to ensure that this protective style is done in a way that will not damage my natural hair. Rama was very gentle when combing and detangling my hair. I would highly recommend her. This is my new go to place!

I had appt at another salon but the wait time was ridiculous so i decided to leave and I called Rama Coco. The owner was professional. The establishment was clean. The customer service was impeccable. Barack did my braided extensions. She did amazing job. You can barely tell hair was added just like how I like it. I will def be back.

I found this shop on google and took my 2 nieces here to get their hair braided! The owner did my nieces hair and I was extremely pleased with the results. I also asked her to attempt to braid my hair, I was not sure if my hair was long enough but I was tired of wearing it short and was in the process of growing out and I was celebrating my birthday that same night. To my surprise she was able to catch my hair and give me 6 cute braids with the gold ornaments! I was extremely impressed! In addition, my hair lasted for two weeks, considering how short my hair was I was more than appreciative that I didn’t have to worry about my hair!!! I will be coming back!

I got waist-length knotless braids. it was a super pleasant experience from the salon itself (clean, air conditioned, netflix, with wifi) to the LACK of pain and her personality. she was super quick and I love my hair. I havent had braids in 15 years (im 25) bc of the pain and trauma i experienced growing up, but this experience will for sure make me get braids more often. i will be back for sure!
