Cafasso's Fairway Market

Love this market! They have incredible product. My favorite is their quality of deli options. I had the most amazing pastrami from them! I’m usually not a pastrami person but they just turned me on to theirs specifically. I’ve been coming here since I was younger with my mom and we have always had a great experience.
I also enjoy their freshly made sandwiches - they are to die for! This time I bought all the items and made my own at home and enjoyed it so much. I’m happy that I’m living close by again to be able to go more often. 😊

Gorgeous store with ample selection! I love coming to visit this area (I’m from out of town) and looking for local Italian markets. The store is arranged in a beautiful manner that’s pleasing to the eye, and it makes it impossible to make a selection. Don’t come here hungry, you’ll spend everything you have on their prepared foods. Wish they had their own store prepared babka, but its probably best for me that they didn’t.
Checkout was fast and easy, I love the bags they have available for purchase if you forget your own reusable bags.

Fort lee wouldn’t be the same without Cafasso’s. Been coming here since I was a kid. Best kept secret is there pre made baby back ribs (similar serving container as a rotisserie) it’s very affordable and just terrific. Great antipasti as well!

The best Italian and specialty foods market in all of New Jersey!!! You can't find the stuff you want anywhere else! I've met people who come from New York just to buy cheese from here! The cashiers are friendly and the administration cares about you! And also (something I love about this place): it's PET FRIENDLY!!! You know how most supermarkets are (no pets, boo boo) but here? They don't mind! They love pets! I'm not Italian (farm from it) but I love this place! 100% recommend! (And I'm a featured Google Reviewer, so you can trust me) 😊

Excellent vegetables and fruits. Great deli and meat department. Coffee bean selection very good. They have the best fresh mozzarella in Bergen county. All slightly expensive but worth it. Isles are very narrow which stresses me out but I still go there. Cashiers robotic and not very nice. Just ignore them and take home your goodies.

Quality has gotten remarkably better. I’m changing my review and recommend them. But will be monitoring. Happy Munching.

I am modifying my original review below. Their Deli / Hot Food has much improved. I’m impressed. Very tasty and fresh. But make sure you look at the prepackaged expiration dates.

I used to shop at Cafasso‘s often but lately the deli counter and hot food counter has really gotten worse. In the past we’ve gotten prime rib that we had to bring back that was like rotten beef jerky. The shrimp at times are outdated. Today we ordered the pork chops the stuffed pork chops when we got home the pork was literally like leather could not cut it we ate a piece got stuck in my tooth. Very disappointing this is not an isolated incident. I am a professional in Fort Lee and we discuss all of our food dishes that we buy and looking to hear from other people what they think.

This is the BEST grocery store in all of New Jersey. They have the most amazing produce and meats.

Always something different here... Or always what you're used to. Love the fresh baked goods, fruit/veg, and fish selection is great. Albeit, one lady who works behind the fish station needs an adjustment of sort, super unfriendly (0 stars for her).

Excellent food market. Produce is always fresh and selection is very good. Their store-made mozzarella and burrata is the best I ever had.

The best gourmet market and food store in the tri-state area. These guys have the best quality food and assortment of delicacies. Too many good things to mention, need to try it for yourselves.

OMG. The best! I go out of my way to pop in there for high quality. Try the stuffed grape leaves! I love their breads and their pies are exceptional. Excellent counter foods and exquisite produce .

Area . The have, are nice the meat section good lighting. The teller attentive . I found what I like .

Best supermarket in the area. You find fresh produce, with lots to choose from. The best Italian prosciuttos, a variety of cheeses, good sweets baked in house , delicious meats and vegetables done with perfection.

Always fresh produce, bakery department has an amazing assortment breads and desserts. Meat counter is a carnivore's delight and the fish department always has something new and exciting available. My favorites are tuna, swordfish and Wild American Shrimp. Homemade mozzarella is still warm when you buy it. Parmesan selection starts at 18 month aged, 24, 36, 48, and the king is made from the red cow, raw milk, so delicious. Vacche Rosse is the name. Try the Truffle Burrata, made in-store, delicious😋 Everything is perfect. They sell reusable bags, too! Great prosecco selection.
Spring has given way to wonderful fruits vegetables. Huge selection of watermelon every day.
Amazing assortment of specialty items from all regions of Italy, gifts to celebrate Italian Heritage Month. Valentine's Day Chocolate Covered Strawberries are delicious.

Great market with high quality produce, cheeses, charcuterie, and a wonderful staff.

I lost my cell phone in the store the other day after I misplaced it in someone else's shopping cart by accident. The owner, David and his coworkers went all the way to help me find it. I really appreciate all your help! Cafasso's Fairway Market is also my favorite place to buy groceries.. great prices and hard to find speciality items are the norm here. They have a delicious prepared food section. Always fresh and delicious. Great store, and great family! 5 stars.

Great place for everyday shopping or stocking up for the week. Amazing selection and tasty catering options. Never disappointed by the selection of items they have! Between the top 2 Italian shopping places, I go to.

This is about the food and service as well. I was a little worried about the recent negative reviews but was extremely happy with our Thanksgiving prix fixe meal that they prepared. There was a slight mistake on the order but they were extremely gracious (I think I spoke to David Cafasso) about it. Quality of the food was excellent and can't say enough about how good everything was.

Love this grocery store - produce is always fresh and products are stocked regularly. Staff is always friendly! They have a wonderful selection of prepared foods and an excellent selection of beer, wine and alcohol! Anything you could want can be found at Cafasso’s !
