Fleet Feet Montclair

This was my first visit to this store and I wasn't disappointed. I was informed this was a family owned business and it felt that way. The staff were so helpful and very professional in every aspect. My kids enjoyed getting their feet sized. We ended up leaving with more shoes than intended.

I've recently been investing in running and decided to checkout this location, as it was the closest near me. I had such a great and comfortable experience. I was helped by Mary and she helped me pick out my first running shoe. There were so many options but I never felt overwhelmed or pressured to make a decision quick. She had me try on a bunch of different brands and compare them on each foot which was super helpful. She also told me about the runs on thursdays and overall was extremely welcoming and warm. I definitely will be coming back again for any of my running needs.

John was nothing short of awesome. He spent well over an hour with us, assisting my partner with marathon/running shoes and me with pregnancy support sneaks. He was patient with our toddler and even offered her his iPad to keep her occupied with Miss Rachel videos. He was very knowledgeable, patient, pleasant & the time spent with him was enjoyable. We’d definitely return for future purchases and encourage you to stop in!

This store is incredible. Everyone I have met with is not only very knowledgeable but also very friendly. Based on my foot scan, I was recommended some shoes that I had never tried on before. They are the most comfortable shoes I have owned and fit my foot so well. I will only go here for my sneaker needs and I suggest this store for anyone who is looking for shoes.

Took my mother in for walking shoes. The entire experience was positive, all of it driven by Victoria’s patience, knowledge, and agreeable demeanor. The selection was excellent as was the foot scan process. Great experience for us.

It was a quick ten minute wait after putting my name on the list for assistance ! I also went on a Sunday so it was pretty busy. Cute store. Tons of great show options which are selected special for your foot shape / size. Melanie assisted me with finding the perfect sneakers. Mission accomplished because she picked out two great shoes for me. She really listened to my needs in a shoe! Long distance, knee support etc. thank you !!!

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Glen and the owner are just amazing. I was having a difficult time finding sneakers that would fit myself and my two boys and Glen was able to fit us all the right shoes and insoles. He even educated us about the different types. Thank you guys so much! Just great experience. The best I’ve received at any retail store.

For the first time, I had one of the most positive experiences in a shoe store. A gentleman by the name of Paul helped me out and he couldn’t have been nicer. He started with the 3D scan of my feet, and then brought out some shoes that would work best with the way my feet are shaped. The personal attention I was receiving was refreshing and made me feel like he actually cared what kind of shoe I was going to purchase. I think we tried on 7 pairs of shoes that day and he was in no rush for me to make a decision. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to this establishment. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Now let’s go run!!!!

Visited this store again, for an exchange of Hoka online purchase. Staff could have been more accommodating and helpful. Maggie spent lots of time showing possible replacement shoes, very knowledgeable and informed. Made the whole experience for us worthwhile. Highly recommended

Well first time me visiting, Employee was very nice help you and making your selection come for your running shoe.. I had buy clifton 9 running shoe 👟 and so far doing great and very comfortable shoe. Also with arch it is more comfortable. I will come back to this store 💯. I rate this store a 5 star rating for they kindness and, respect me being a first time customer

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. Top selection of running sneakers, gear and essentials. The staff have a few marathon runners. That give great advice and excellent customer service.
They have running groups.
Other fitness clothing is available but I’m a jogger.

Newbie runner here. Signed up for the NYC Half Marathon and while I love my OnCloud running shoes, a friend mentioned I should go to Fleet Feet because he knows an incredible amount about feet and took his daughter there to get measured. He said to go see what they would say about my feet and new shoes. 🤯 Mindblown. Never knew they could properly measure your feet, arch, width, etc, etc. Just very cool (did I mention I'm a newbie?) The one-to-one level of service is superb - shout out to Melanie who schooled me on so much. She took the time to show me what would work for my feet (4 bunionectomy procedures later BTW) and let me try on 5 pairs of shoes. I was also able to run outside to try them out. Love ❤ love ❤ love ❤

Thursdays they do free group running for the local community at 6 pm and can't wait to join and try out my new Brooks 👟

Great place to shop for sneakers, running shoes, walking, trekking.
You get a oustanding personalized one on one attention, they have a instrument to measure and analyze your feet, making the selection more accurate. The people who work there have a full knowledge of the products and client needs , and very enthusiastic on doing their job. You can buy sneakers in any mall, but why?? The customer service is oustanding in here.only one warning: if you want to buy some cheap knockoff sneakers, don't go there.Only quality merchandise is this place.i am a client for the last 5 years, and I don't change this place for nothing.i highly recommend this place.

Brought my son here off of recommendation from athletic trainer at school and it was the best experience. Stephen was nice patient and explained everything about the sneakers and foot scan. Will definitely be my go to store for every season he runs now. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service. Will come back again just because of Stephen.

Love this place! Decided to buy a pair of sneakers and Paul Pierotti was great to work with. He knew what I wanted and I was sized appropriately and had no idea I had a wide foot! We shared marathon stories and I felt extremely comfortable with him. He wasn't pushy about me purchasing anything. I did purchase my first pair of Hoka Clifton 8 in addition to other fun gadgets. I went to fleet feet today to buy running shoes and met glen he helped me with everything and exceeded all expectations. Glen was very knowledgeable about all types of running shoes and made my experience very easy.

One stop shop for all your running needs. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. For anyone who is just starting out or wants to level up, they have everything you need.

Worked with John to get a new pair of running shoes. I had a pair of shoes that recently started giving me trouble with blisters. John listened to all my concerns and recommended the perfect pair of shoes. I have had no issues with blisters or shin pain (which I had in the past as well). He was attentive and didn’t rush me. Wish I could give this experience 10 stars.
