Stopped in with my mom today, very glad the sign caught my eye as we drove by! It's a small place and it was pretty chilly today, but the staff was warm and friendly enough to make up for it. We loved our slamwiches! She had a taylor, egg, and cheese and I tried the pork shoulder. Portions were generous and the homemade roll was delicious, I loved the sprinkle of sea salt on top. My pork was so moist and tender, and the slaw so crunchy. Definitely coming back to try the Korean BBQ and duck confit!

I went here because a friend of mine works here, but discovered that he was not just hyping the food. It is masterfully done. I had the wang chung which is Korean BBQ w homemade Kimchee and scallion aioli. What a good sandwich! I am upset I didn't order 3 for myself, not because of the portion size, but because I want to stuff 2 more in my gullet. If the French dip denounced its namesake country and repatriated to Seoul, it would be this sandwich.. the Korean dip. Even the house-made bread was a deliberate and wonderful choice: enough tooth to hold up to the juices and sauce but not so much that you had to fight it and inevitably squeeze the fillings out of the sandwich. Definitely wanna try my way through the menu. Kudos to Slamwich!

Great sandwiches! Don't bypass this spot - looks like a tiny hole in the wall from the outside but the food is unique and trendy. I ordered a Korean bbq brisket sanwich with kimchi and leek mayo. Highly recommended!

Great sandwiches! Pictured is the duck. Great combination of flavors. Some parts of the duck were overfried and too hard to eat though. Not a fast food place. Be ready to chill while your sandwich is prepared!

Been here a few times. Sandwiches are great, and the rosemary fries are my favorite!

The food here is great. The staff takes the time to explain any menu idem. The bread is made in house. The space is small but that gives it its charm. Highly recommended.

Had the pastrami. Great stuff. Get their house made ketchup if you order fries.

Outstanding sandwich shop. Went with the cheese steak and it was great but will try the duck next time, have heard excellent things about it. French fries were quite possibly the best I have ever had, wish they had a half portion though. Too much for one person and I hate waste. Place was clean , service was super fast and staff was very pleasant. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time here. We tried the cheesesteak, mac n cheese, pastrami, and veggie egg sandwiches. All were delicious! Fries and chips were homestyle and also great. Amazing food AND service. The owner was very nice. We will definitely be stopping back our next time through!

I think this was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The bread was so soft and delicious. We were in a rush to catch a train and the staff worked hard to prepare the food quickly for us. Everyone was so kind, we really appreciated it. But wait..can we talk about how amazing that sandwich was? The crispy bacon has forever changed me. Thank you.

This is my kind of place. It's a small hole in the wall but everything is scratch made. From the pickles to the rolls everything is crafted in house. I had the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The fresno chiles gave it a little heat without being overbearing. It also has house made pickles on it. As for the in house made roll... Amazing. This isn't right around the corner for me but I can't wait to come back and try more of these fantastic scratch made sandwiches!

Great place. I always get the pastrami. It's not your typical thin sliced. You get thick sliced and a good portion. My buddy likes the brisket. Said it's the best he's had. Got to try it next time. You gotta go!

Such a little hole in the wall place and it's great. They have homemade bread which does wonders for a sandwich. The chips are also homemade and don't get me started on the French fries. They also use real meat, not just deli slices. Parking here is a pain as there's not a lot, but street is usually available. Not much to look at, but fantastic place for lunch.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Looks like a tiny, old-school (dare I say abandoned) Diner but inside is a simple yet innovative sandwich menu. I had the Mizz Piggy and loved it!

Friendly staff helped me track down my missing phone too, thanks again guys.

Upon walking in you feel like you're stepping into a food truck with all the stainless steel walls and the vibe of an old dinner with black and white checkered floors. The kitchen staff know exactly what they are doing back there. The food is so amazing!! The bread is baked in house so it's always fresh. The proof is in the pudding when they call themselves Scratch Kitchen. You can truly taste it in the food. Everything is made in house. From the Pop That Pastrami to the BLT which is far from any BLT you have ever tasted. It's absolutely amazing. Their burgers and philly cheesesteak are so good. The meat is carved and ground fresh as well. Just check them out for yourselves. You won't be disappointed!!

What a great spot! My girlfriend and I have been wanting to stop here for awhile, and finally had the opportunity today. The menu should have something for everyone -- their food is all farm-to-table, so all the ingredients are super fresh. And, worst case, you can build your own. Everything is served super fresh and hot, and it tastes amazing. We will definitely be back soon -- the breakfast sandwiches looked pretty delicious!

TIP: You can park at the end of the Stop N' Shop parking lot and walk over here, though do so at your own risk, since it is Stop N' Shop's parking lot.

So delicious, we're definitely going back. The rosemary fries are the best I've ever had! Everything was super fresh, we even overheard the chef saying he'd smoked some meats yesterday. Can't sing the praises of this place enough.

Truly the best. 99% of everything you get was made right in the restaurant by the guys who run it. Everything is delicious and fresh and honestly just feels good to eat. So much love and care goes into this place and it shows. The guys who run the place are unbelievably nice and always strike up conversation. It's such a treat to go here. If you find yourself in Madison, NJ, this is a must go!

The food is amazing!!! You wouldn't expect it from the outside of the place. I've had two sandwiches from there and plan to to get to each sandwich at one point. I have yet to be disappointed.
