Subzi Bazaar Grocery

This store is awesome. Everything is neatly organized and you have a huge variety to pick from. There’s nothing you need that you won’t get here. Frozen items and also fresh samosa (tasted great) and other snacks and curries available. Also the prices for items like paneer and curd are neatly written for every brand on the refrigerator door so there’s no confusion. Definitely recommend this place!

Good place. After they expanded, now there is a hot food corner inside serving fresh indian food. I have not tried the food but it looked good.

This store really is a hidden gem in Hackensack, for Indian subcontinent groceries! This was my first time shopping at this location, must say that they have all the essentials that an Indian grocery store should have, fresh produce, large frozen food section, and varieties of spices that you’ll ever need!

Oh i love this place The prices are too good compared to other Indian grocery stores. They have everything as Indian items totally recommend it.

The great Indian store for almost all Indian groceries. The fresh vegetables and Indian snacks options are great.

We get Indian munchies like Samosa, Veg puff, rotis, that will take you all the way to India. I am never disappointed

I really liked the variety of pre-made jars of sauces they had on stock, which is a huge time saver when you're attempting to put together a hearty homemade meal in a hurry. And for those who are working from home, on PTO, etc., there are plenty of fresh ingredients at hand to crank out an authentic meal from scratch. Their fresh vegetables selection is decent, and prices are fair.

They have improved store, resigned and also added fresh food like ROTI, PULKA, CHAPATI, PARATA, SAMOSA, VEG PUFF, PANEER PUFF,
I had puff from their store.. its is good.
Reasonable price for their puff, comparatively less price than other store near by.
Hope they keep the taste good and keep prices reasonable as it is now..

Only suggestion is - it will be more better if they organize or set it up the vegetable section. When you see vegetable they has to catch your eye before you get to check and buy them.. please keep the vegetable section more appealing visually and ofcourse freshness.

I have always liked shopping here and now that they gave expanded and renovated the place, it's a better experience. You can get most of the Indian Groceries you would get at a bigger store like Patel's.

There is an attached food counter where you can get fresh Indian snacks, dishes, etc., and they are pretty good for the price.

I don't get a chance to get to this place as often as I'd like to but I can tell you right now they have way more than I will ever need to cook Indian food at home... somebody that I worked for a recommended this place and I hadn't heard about it prior to... I don't know if it's because it's a best kept secret or what but I'm happy that I finally had a chance to stop in because it was fantastic. Easy to get to... Easy to park... Fully stocked... and the pricing is fantastic in my opinion.

Very good Indian Grocery store. You will get everything you need from vegetables to all grocery, ready to cook items, milk, yogurt, yogurt drink, snacks. Good parking facility.

It is a great store for indian and Pakistani's. U could shop and eat too they even have free water for customers. I recently visited Sabzi Bazar and was blown away by the quality of their food. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the service was top-notch. However, the standout dish for me was the pani puri. It was simply amazing! The crispy puri shells were filled with a tangy and spicy mixture of potatoes, chickpeas, and tamarind chutney, and then dipped in a refreshing mint and coriander water. Each bite was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more. I have had pani puri at many other places, but Sabzi Bazar's version is by far the best I have ever had. The rest of the food was also excellent, with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Sabzi Bazar to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian food, and especially to those who want to try the best pani puri in town!

Edit 20221002: Renovated recently, and looks better. A couple of times, the rice we bought here ended up having larvae of worms in them, so we have dropped buying perishables here.

Recently moved to the area and this is as close to Pastel bros in terms of inventory. Got fresh chapatis as well as lot of snack options.

New to Indian cuisine..love it. This place was referred to me by several Indian friends and there were right! Great recommend.

I stumbled into this great Indian supermarket that has everything. I walked in just to buy Cardamom and walked out with a bag of Basmati rice, Samosas, henna for hair, and a bunch of other great items. They have a huge selection which makes it hard to decide which to get. What a fun place and I was the only non-Indian there.
