Favorite Breakfast/Lunch Place!
As someone who's on campus most of the time throughout the week, it's tiring to walk far for lunch. This place was close to my campus and has great sandwiches and baklava! I always stop by here between classes because it's more affordable than my college's cafeteria food.
They also have a few cakes and other pastries out by the register and the deli counters, which makes it easy to just take a little snack on-the-go!

their prices are fair when it comes to their food. love the salads and the smoothies! as a college student it is affordable. i didn’t know about this place i found it on google so they should definitely advertise themselves to the local universities around them.

Love !!! Nice variety of good food from a snack to a meal always happy with what I order and they're friendly and clean and busy but never crowded whenever Ive been there. Not greatest location and I never would have found it if I hadn't stumbled upon it by accident but I'm glad I did

Great place to eat and take a break from the office. Everything that I've bought tasted delicious. The workers are very courteous and helpful. I bought the Shrimp Alfredo today and had some left over. My high school daughter gave it two thumbs up.

Pronto is my go to for lunch. They are always so polite and friendly. They deliver in the rain, sleet, snow and always with a smile. The food is delicious and very reasonable. You have to try their paninis! I have yet to be disappointed. Thank you so much!

I was in the office and noticed a colleague with a really good looking slice of pizza. She told me it was from Pronto Cafe. I had a little bit of a time finding it because it's in the lobby of a building and the building has scaffolding around it. Since I found it I have been going there at least once a week. The salad bar is really good. The pizza is almost NYC authentic and the other dishes I've had there were good as well. The best part is the prices. You can eat very well there for less than $10 including a drink. Overall, it's a great place for lunch if you're in downtown Newark.

Best lunch spot! There is variety and freshness in the food. Hot & cold both served. My favorite is the salmon or the stuffed flounder in the picatta sauce. Their specials usually sell out by lunch time. And they have great breakfast options. Overall, you'll find food for all your moods.

One of my favorite spots in Newark. The store is clean, the food is fresh and they have a menu to satisfy any of your cravings. From healthy salads, wraps and fruit to hot subs, paninis, and pizza, you can’t go wrong with this place!

I've always loved this place it was very very very very clean the place look extremely nice they are allowing people to still eat and sit down in the restaurant you have two social distance you must wear a mask and the place is extremely clean very good Hospitality friendly service I love the place it's been years since that I have been a customer although every time I come back to drop in or whatever to have my favorite which is their oatmeal I love their oatmeal it remind me of how my late Mom grandmother and my aunt makes it it tastes wonderful again I always have a comfortable experience each time I go to the Pronto Cafe😀💕☺

I love the food here. The paninis are incredible. I love to make my own salads too. Awesome place for lunch or breakfast. Staff is very friendly as well.

Great place for Salads and a quick bite. Gets crowded during lunch. Court house building so most people just come here. The friend chicken is super delicious.
