ShopRite of Brookdale

Thank you to the bakery department for the cakes done very well and at very reasonable prices. I had tried to get simple wedding themed cakes to acknowledge nuptials for members of my church congregation who were recently married. Most bakeries i had tried were charging prices starting at $250 each. Someone recommended that i try Shoprite bakery. After speaking to a cake decorator at ShopRite Brookdale she understood exactly what i was looking for. She formerly worked at Pathway bakery in downtown Newark, Nj many years ago a place i was very familiar with and knew the quality of their work. She didn't disappoint at all. The cakes were designed perfectly. The couples along with our congregation were raving about the cakes. We all agreed it matched or topped some of the best bakeries familiar to our area.
The prices were very reasonable we got (2) 10" cakes and (2) 5" cakes for under $130 total. Thank you for meeting my bakery needs.

I stopped in this shoprite on the way home today for the 1st time. The people working were so nice. Anyone I asked for help, they knew the aisle right off the top of their head and were so willing to help. I even saw a an employee on the way out help an older woman get on the scooter so she should start her shopping. Great job to all!

ShopRite at home is great! The staff members are very accommodating especially TONI and ANNMARIE. Very helpful when you need to add an item/remove something from your already placed order and very pleasant on the phone. Thank you for all your help!

I just need to let you know that the hot food/deli area is where it’s at. I genuinely had the BEST BEC of my life, and I’d like to thank the kind woman who cooked this again, truly incredible. wow.

Large newly renovated. Grab and go food is good. Best fried chicken in the area. 3 wings, chicken breast and baked Mac $27.49.

Renovated and expanded a few years ago. This large grocery store has just about everything you’d expect. Even serves sushi and hot food for take out.

Great selection and prices. I have modifi3d my review since the meat department has gotten better about the ground beef issue. We always get fresh meat now. Great selection and I love the basket and bowl brands to save money! Back up to 5 stars!

This is my favorite grocery store in my area. The have really friendly staff and they are always ready to answer any questions and get you the help you need when you need it. The store is also always really clean and well-stocked so I never have to worry about them not having what I want. I'm thankful for this grocery store being around!

Always a great store, and the renovation is looking awesome. The deli and seafood counters are closed right now, but prepared foods open 6/21.

Thanksgiving 2023 update: store management and staff did an outstanding job stocking the store for the holiday. They made everyone's holiday dinner possible; 500 stars out of 5! They also gave their employees off for the holiday; 500 million stars out of 5!

Good location and large selections of foods. Clean and well organized. Needs more checkout registers open.

Leila was amazing with helping me with my bouquet of flowers! I wasn't sure what to get, but she asked me for a budget and worked within it. She's very talented and arranged it beautifully! I was very happy and amazed as a customer.

I'm a shop from home customer. Shout out to the shoprite delivery dept.!! I shop often at this location and not once have they not been accommodating. If there's a missing item, or wrong product , the team has madesure that tihe situation is rectified. Thank you.

Let me tell you, when I say this shoprite's staff is amazing! Ms. GIINNNNNAAAA, I will always love you! Her team is unstoppable, professional, and always on time! The food is always fresh. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MR. STACY!!! He endured our crazy delivery schedule and still was able to professionally lay out our spread. His patience and tolorance for our graduation, should be rewarded!
