Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea

I like the coffee of the store. There are many delicious pastries. There are many cold drinks choices. The ambiance is very beautiful. It is near from NJIT and Rutgers University. I highly recommend this coffee store for students. It has a variety of sandwiches.

Lucky for me to find this place. Delicious coffee. The Cheese, Egg and Bacon sandwich was very good made by the blonde girl. Very kind and friendly staff. I recommend.

This is my first time in this area, but I’ve heard of this place before. It’s a really clean place and the latte is yummy. Service was awesome also. I would chill here anytime.

Genuinely has to be the best iced chai latte i’ve ever had, it tasted like genuine chai was brewed. It’s quiet and everyone sitting around had a calm keeping to self vibe, just enjoying their coffee or food. Try the Iced chai latte with a shot of espresso and lavender syrup, it was so refreshing, with a slice of tiramisu.

Crossiant with sausage and cheese was so good my first time I will order again , and sour cream walnut coffee cake was delicious

Latte was great! They also had some dessert samples out that were really tasty as well 😊

The place has nice employee's, good tea/coffee and othe drink. Like how i got a vanilla milkshake and a red velvet cupcakes it was good

Love this place! Awesome location with outdoor seating and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Espresso is great and they have a lot of other coffee and tea options. The lattes aren't presweetened which is a nice option to have. I love going there on Saturdays in the spring and summer and sitting outside.

A true gem in Newark the owner and the staff are so welcoming and professional. I love thier creativity with drinks and the bake goods are just delicious. A+ establishment in my opinion.

I love this cafe!! I’m a regular here and I love that they’ve taken their time to learn what I like. They’ve been able to accommodate my many “unique” coffee needs. Coffee tastes great also!

Hands down one of the best cafe in town. I go to NJIT, and now this is my go-to spot. Perfect coffee, perfect egg & cheese sandwich and delicious brownies!! Not to mention, the staff is super friendly, the place is clean along with good vibes.

Awesome team, great customer service! The frozen drinks are amazing. I love the Strawberry Bliss and the Caramel Ice Dragon. The set up is beautiful and condiments are available to use as you wish. They also have Sweetwater merchandise for sale!! Great job team!!

This store went the extra mile to make a negative experience into a positive one. This cafe is located in a great area and always has new items on the menu. If you’re in the neighborhood I would recommend giving them a try!

The woman who assisted me with my order was so sweet and helpful. I ordered a caramel decaf latte and it was delicious. Great coffee and great service… highly recommend!

Love this place. The staff and owner are super friendly. My fav drink of them all is the Dreamy and now tht they have pumpkin I get the pumpkin flavor dreamy. Omg a must try if u like iced coffee. The pastries are really delicious as well as the coffee n tea.

I have been going to this place throughout my time at Rutgers. Great service and products and the prices aren't too bad. If you want coffee or any cold drinks and sweets, this is your place to be.

Extensive menu of tea and coffee drinks! I can speak to their variety of quality loose leaf teas, which I order with steamed dairy milk alternatives e.g. soy, oat, etc. Nice modern environment with high ceilings and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great option - thanks!

I freaking love this cafe. The staff are super sweet and awesome and the drinks are amazing. I think they have the best mocha around. Hope this place stays in business for awhile.
