Food was delicious (a bit too salty for me), portion was generous, price was fair, service was good, & atmosphere was ok. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Appreciate the authentic Chinese menu. We ordered 4 dishes, except the bean curd with baby bok choy, 3 came in clay pots (fish fillet with fermented vegetables, chicken with chestnut & seafood casserole), which we really appreciate. Street parking.

A spacious and cozy restaurant with an upper level when it's busy. The menu is in both Chinese and English and they have chopsticks and forks and knives for convenience. The service is fast and the waiters are nice. The food is fresh, delicious, and authentic. The decor makes the restaurant welcoming. It might not have parking spaces nearby. I recommend the Tomato Egg Soup to start off. There is a well cleaned and thoroughly maintained restroom, and the floor seems to be swept and shined often, as it is very clean. There is free WiFi; just ask the waiters for the password.

My husband and I went for the first time and loved this place. Their food is delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The menu is huge, as well as the price range. They have both Chinese and Japanese food, which makes the place two in one. If you like asian cuisine this place is for you 😊😋

Actually really good! Definitely get the Homestyle dishes as they have a lot of flavor. The beef and beef tips hot pot is really good and the fried dumpling too

Guess it’s the best Asian restaurant among Newark, Kearny and Harrison. I’m so glad to find a restaurant which still stably and reliably provides premium foods during the pandemic. Hope more ppl could support good local business like this. And together, we thrive.

Great service and delicious food try the steamed wontons in Szechuan sauce and the Mongolian beef never disappoints

Great food- Chinese & Sushi! My family was in Newark for NJIT graduation on Tuesday 5/16/2017...all hungry on the way out of town...mix of tastes...husband & I really wanted sushi...we arrived around 3:30p & the sushi chef was on his lunch break...the woman waiting on us called him to ask if he would make sushi...he came back early from his lunch to make us sushi!!!! we had the sushi/sashimi combo for 2...SO GOOD, SO FRESH!!! We've had sushi all over (Phili, NY, Cali) and this was right on par! The rest of the family had Chinese which was also fantastic! Chicken & broccoli, beef & snow peas, & mei fun. Everything was so good we got an order to go....pork fried dumplings, pork fried rice, & mei fun. My husband & I live in Rochester, NY & just got home from our family trip & finished our mei fun & rice for dinner..2 days later 5/18/2017....STILL SO GOOD. My husband said he would definitely go back if we are in the area! I agree! Great find...Great food....definitely recommend!

My family has been ordering from Chinatown for pickup and delivery about once a month for a whole year now. The family who runs this business is always very pleasant, both on the phone and in person. Ordering is always a breeze and it always arrives complete. They are very conscientious and accommodating about fulfilling special orders, too. This is our favorite takeout restaurant because the food is not heavy or greasy. I see other reviewers calling their style "bland," but we call it fresh and light and are very satisfied with it because spices and sauces can always be added, after all. Yes, prices have increases, as has all food prices since the pandemic, but we are extremely satisfied customers who are happy to put our money toward a family who is pleasant, hardworking, and cares about doing it right. They don't know this, but they've allowed two busy, exhausted parents of a small child some much needed rest and comfort food, so THANKS Chinatown!

Great variety of vegetable dishes. 10/10 eggplant in garlic sauce, mixed vegetables, and Shanghai pan fried noodles. Service was friendly and prompt. We found our local favorite :) wish i took pictures but We ate it too fast lol

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in town, the food is always excellent, tastes fresh and is so fairly priced. Kuddos to the cooks, sushiman and staff, you are all great!

Our table of 8 was delighted all the way around. Our waiter was awesome as was the food. The mixed greens with black mushrooms was such a welcome change. The Ma Po tofu (with pork) was the absolute best I've ever had/ Pork dumplings and Veg dumplings were great and the juicy buns were outstanding! Really everything was great and the portions are huge!

Great food! I had sweet and sour chicken and requested the sauce on the side, which the restaurant accommodated. Very tasty. Loved the chicken fried rice. Servings were a really good size, I had enough for leftovers.

I have come here since I had first realized they were open for business and have never regretted it. They are amazingly sweet, patient and kind and the food is some off if not the best Chinese food I have tasted. They make you feel like you’re important and always try to accommodate people and allow for a quiet and enjoyable meal. If I ever think of a place where I would bring a date or a friend I always come back to this place. Such a great place and I love the food. :) Across the board I have never found an issue with their service or food!

I love the location of this restaurant. Make sure to find parking ! Lol. The staff makes the best accommodations for your stay for lunch or dinner. The sushi hands down is the best around. Especially the affordable price for sushi and entrees. The quality of the rice and selection of fish are fresh. This is a great place for lunch and dinner. A must when coming to Harrison.

It was amazing, the food was delicious, cheap, and came in large quantities. The service was the best I had in a while, also it was very authentic Chinese food.

Friendly staff and one of the best sushi deals around. My wife and I always get the sushi and sashimi for two. Always fresh and very generous portions at a good price. It's BYOB and there's also a very convenient small liquor store right next door. Get a nice cold beer or chilled white wine and bring it next door for a fantastic dinner.
