River Grille

Food was excellent!
It is a bar atmosphere so it can be loud. Small dining room so there is often a wait but oh my the food was good!
I had a pork chop special. Tender and juicy served with real & delicious mashed potatoes and spinach.
We had the chicken nachos as an app, I cannot recommend them enough. I think they were the best I have ever had!

It was my first night in Jersey and my friend brought me here for a bite to eat and some music and drink. Loved it reminded me of a pub in Westchester I used to go to all the time. Friendly fun and cozy. Food is wonderful! I had the French onion soup and the little neck clams and garlic sauce yum! Looking forward to going back when I head back to Jersey for a visit!

Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Food here is delicious along with friendly and attentive service. Bartenders are very experienced,professional and fun. There is a main bar area with hightop seating,an upstairs dining area along with a large outside back bar. Friday and Saturday nights live music is offered by talented musicians/cover bands. Open Mic night on Tuesdays and Karaoke Wednesdays. This place is awesome and people from all areas come to enjoy it.

The food was excellent. Went for a work Christmas luncheon. Service, no one really checked on our table. Had to yell across the restaurant to the bar to get a refill on drinks. That's the only complaint aside from that was very satisfied.

If you want great burgers - this is the place. They make the best burgers! I ordered the Ten Ounce Burger with cheddar and my wife ordered the Big Blue (salad substituted for fries). They were absolutely the best! I have attached pictures for your review. Beyond delicious! Great spot. Great atmophere. Great service.

Great little local bar/pub with efficient service, decent food, great music, and a vibe that's getting all too rare these days. If I lived in walking distance, I'd be there all the time.

A fun bar. They had multiple musicians play throughout the night. We didn't eat there but the service was good for drinks.

I believe I have found a nice hidden gem. Stopped at this place for a quick bite to eat and I was not disappointed. The menu had a wide range of options, the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing! The portion sizes are really good, and I can't wait for my next visit. The atmosphere was really good too, seems like a nice spot to hang out.

The River Grille is located in a small, stand-alone building, surrounded by industry. There are a few outdoor tables on the front deck. The inside features a large bar with ample seating and a smaller dining room. It’s very casual and the backdrop to the bar is covered in beer signs and stickers. There’s an impressive variety of beers on tap and in bottles. Also impressive is the size and diversity featured in the menu, from pub staples to bar pies to huge, fresh salads. I ordered the Santa Fe Salad with Cajun chicken. The chicken was spicy and perfectly cooked. The salad was super fresh and full of avocado. Service was attentive and friendly.

Great vibe, food, and service. Really dug it, got appetizers only and...best! bar food! ever! I don't throw my accolades around carelessly. Looking forward to going back every time I come to NJ.

The foods incredible. The portion sizes are also over the top. Sometimes a bit crowded so plan for a possible wait. Salads are excellent but make sure to add the blackened chicken!!!

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Everything is great & staff is always super friendly and attentive. Always a go to place especially when im inviting friends to the area! Live band is also a plus and very fun. Highly recommend!!!

Went to the River Grille with my wife for date night last night and had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic! The staff, Addie and Chris, were warm, welcoming and helpful which added to the experience. Great place, with great food for a family dinner or a night out. Kudos!

It's a lovely place with kind staff and cool music. Oh, and the wings are to die for. 🤤
