Brought my son's mountain bike in on Sunday afternoon for service. The technician took it in right away and took care of everything it needed while we waited, which was unexpected with no appointment. He was informative and knowledgeable, and charged us only for the specific repairs we needed. It was a great experience overall. Tons of bikes, accessories, and gear in stock, and my son had a blast looking around while we waited. Definitely will return for all my service needs.

From the moment I walked in the door they made me feel welcome. Took a couple of bikes for a test ride, and after going over further information, we found the right one. The staff, the owner provided complete professionalism. We went over my wants and needs for the bike to also fit the lifestyle of riding and with all of the available options they have in stock. We customized this Trek Marlin 8 GEN 3 to the max! Thank you everyone for excellent customer service! This is the only place I will go for bike/accessory shopping from now on!

Did a fit with Jonathan and he was very thorough, knowledgeable and personable. The session was excellent and backed by data. I highly recommend the saddle pressure point analysis bc he was able to suggest a saddle that is specific to me. He made adjustments based on my personal goals. Also, he adjusted my bike so I am more efficient on the bike to ride longer and enjoy the ride. It has been a month of riding post the bike fit and I have been adding on the miles including completing a century ride and let me tell you what a big difference. I ride more efficiently, no muscle strain around the neck/shoulders and lower back. Most importantly saddle is great. I wish I had done the bike fit with Jonathan sooner. I highly recommend Jonathan for your bike fitting.

Visited to get my first real bike as an adult after enjoying Costco and Walmart bikes growing up. Wanted something for casual dirt / gravel trails and road biking too. The staff was helpful in fitting me for the right bike and explaining the technical differences within a product line (marlin 6 vs 7 vs 8…). Test ride around the neighborhood of the shop was low stress and exactly what I needed vs buying online. Overall I love the bike and had a good experience at the Marty’s.

Marty's has the best Crew in the business! I recently purchased a TREK
DOMANE SL5 with help from the knowledgeable and skilled associates/cycling enthusiasts at Marty's! That alone is worth going there. I started at their East Hanover location and ended up in Randolph thanks to the "2021-22 Bike Shortage" but they had my bike in stock! No waiting months or weeks! These guys went out of their way to find the TREK I wanted in the size I needed! I was happy with the entire experience including the fitting I had when I went to pick up my bike a week later. I'm starting out 2022 with my new road bike months earlier than expected! Super happy! Thank You!

My first purchase at Marty’s Reliable was over 20
years ago in Morristown. More recently I have been busy with the folks at the Randolph location. My late Covid project has been to build my own gravel bike, and I decided to make almost all purchases through my LBS rather than Amazon, etc. Eric B in sales is incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, passionate about bikes; and Craig in purchasing is very communicative. Its a tough market for bikes and components right now and they were great. I know that I can reach out with any questions down the road if I have any. Thx Marty’s.

Marty's offers great service most of the time. The bike store manager Justin took great care and interest in helping me choose, order, and set up the bike that would fit my needs. Once the bike got delivered, she scheduled an appointment to go over measurements, choose and install accessories, and explain to me the critical items in maintaining and getting the best out of my bike. I would highly recommend Marty's to anyone looking to purchase or repair a bike.

I have to say this was the most pleasurable experience that I have had to buy anything and especially expensive. I met Adam who is the general manager for the the bike stores. He was so so helpful and knowledgeable. He allowed me to test drive some bikes there to help educate me. He was not pushy at all He helped to take the time to show me online all the details to compare different bike features compared to the bikes. Adam also got back to my emails and a few calls as I was looking to spend 11-12K on this bike purchase. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable and confident with my purchase. Never once did I feel pressured or rushed in my decision. He also explained how Martys takes care of the bike and you after the purchase. It was clear that this is a family-run business with employees who care about the reputation and doing the right thing. On my second visit to try and make a decision, Adam brought one of the bikes from a different store to this location so I could make a more educated decision side by side with the other bike. On that visit, I met Jesse the owner of the bike stores. I felt as if I knew Jesse forever as well like we had been best friends. I met his son Jonah who was a very nice young man. Jesse's son actually joined me for a ride after I bought my bike. I loved the family feel of there and everyone was so nice. Jesse was exceptional in helping me make the best final choice & best for me I had the pleasure of working with two top-notch professional personable people. I feel anyone who is shopping for a bike should make Martys your personal bike store. I ended up buying a Pivot Shuttle am. I am just as happy I got the bike as I am when I bought it from such amazing nice family people. I also feel like I met 2 new friends I could be best friends with forever. This bike store is now a home for me. I felt I took my time looking around as I was searching for an expensive E mountain bike.I started off at a bike store in Basking Ridge. They tried to pull a fast one on me by selling me a 2022 bike as it was 2023 when I went home to look up reviews on that bike. They also tried to say that I would have free lifetime tune-ups when buying the bike from them. Well, my search went on to visit the TREK store in Stirling. There were a bunch of younger kids in high school trying to sell me a bike and couldn't answer the real hard questions I had about the differences. I did test drive 2 bikes there. At the TREK store, I felt as if they were pushy to get me to buy a bike that day. They didn't want me to leave without making a purchase. They keep asking to give a better price or try to see what more they can do. ANDREW BUCKWALD

My visit to Marty's in Randolph was a fantastic experience. The staff there listened to my particular needs and expected bike use, and were able to introduce me to several great options that fit my price point. They allowed me to test a series of bikes and helped me zero in on the right one for me. Great selection, great staff, and great service. Would highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and aggressively helpful. They were knowledgeable, intuitive, and eager to assist. The store was clean, well stocked, looked really great, and yet warm and inviting. It reminded me of some shops in Maine, and LL Beans stores. I was very happy with the service, impressed with the staff, and I came away very happy I visited. You should clear a space and invite solo acoustic guitarists to perform., serve coffee, lock the doors and only open them if each person purchases a bike.

Justine went the extra mile for us and provided an exemplary customer service experience. The personal attention she gave us for repairing a bike as well as buying a new bike for my daughter was above and beyond in every way. Her impressive knowledge about bikes, consummate professionalism, friendly interaction style, pleasant demeanor, and willingness to go out of her way to accommodate us was such a wonderful Blessing! We are so thankful we decided to do business at Marty's!!

I had an incident during a gravel ride that caused my rear derailleur to get torn off, so I took my bike to the Randolph shop. It was somewhat busy (which is always good), but Craig put my bike on the stand right away and did a really thorough diagnosis/triage, including checking availability of a replacement for my older Ultegra di2 long-cage derailleur. He gave me updates of what he was finding as he went. All in all, a very positive experience. He said he needs to talk to Shimano to confirm what our options will be going forward. I've been a long-time customer as one of the other area bike shops and have always gone there for service. Looks like that's probably going to change.
