Henry Hudson Trail / Popamora Point

What a beautiful walk. This trail is so nice. The electric bikers are a little reckless so you definitely need to stay to one side and pay attention but aside from that it’s very enjoyable. Great views of the the city.

I love this trail, sometimes it can be over crowded with ppl who like to bring their wheels out (bikes,strollers, scooters etc) but overall this is a beautiful trail that over looks a beach and you can see the city fin you look closely. Ppl fish here as well, there’s picnic tables and the bathrooms are always clean. Everyone is usually nice and says hello/hi when walking pass each other. My kids love it here, we visit often.

I take this trail to ride my bike often. I love the Bayshore part of the trail overlooking the water in Atlantic highlands and highlands. The trail is mostly paved with some parts of gravel. At the end, in highlands, there is a decent sized dog park, restrooms, waterfountians, and a tool station for fixing your bike.

Absolutely stunning views on a well maintained trail. You cannot get enough of the scenery as you walk along this trail. Amazing houses along the way

My dog loves the dog park here. We go daily at around noon. Very clean and dogs love it. Rex highly recommends 🐶💕

Such a nice bike ride and relaxing afternoon

This trail is a fantastic find. We love beginning at Popamora Point and walking through to the marina area. Beautiful views, foliage, etc. We walk this trail with our teen and 8 yr old who both also enjoy it!

Great spot for a walk, run, or low-effort bike ride. We took the kids out for a bike ride over the Labor Day weekend. Great views and a nice breeze coming off the water. It was busier than normal (great weather, long weekend…makes sense) but we were able to find a spot in the main parking lot. Usually parking/crowds aren’t an issue.

Loved the ride!! So nice to have a trail right along the water that leads to a beautiful Marina. Only road about a third of the trail but we all really enjoyed it.

Excellent bicycle/pedestrian trail along the water. Very well maintained with scenic views.  This is a paved, 10-foot wide, 24-mile long trail, and is a former railroad right-of-way.

My new favorite trail absolutely loved it. Will certainly be coming back! The added bonus was the beautiful view of New York from the trail 🤗.

Well maintained, plenty of wildlife, scenery is great, folks on trail friendly, bicycle traffic is at times heavy, and park rangers make sure trail is empty after dark so plan to be back at your parked car by sunset.

Lovely trail following the bay. Gorgeous water views and felt totally safe there. In Atlantic Highlands, there's a children's playground and senior center. Public restrooms are there. Look for a short brown building.

I can't find the words to explain how beautiful and magic this place is... I fall in love every time I go. Alone or with the family this place is PERFECT 😍

Love this little beach tucked away at the end of the Henry Hudson trail. Great place to bring your dog or little kids because there aren't many waves and water/ bathrooms that are easily accessible. It feels like such a secret gem that I almost hate to post a review.

Near the Popamora Point there’s a beautiful beach. It was not very crowded and they allow dogs on this beach too.

Small beach by the Sandy Hook Bay. Lots of small pebbles, in case you like to collect them.

Beautiful views along the water. Paved/gravel. We only made it to the marina and back but the trail can go way longer. We'll have to come back another day :)

Nice and flat bike trail. Sure there are some bumps due to tree roots but just natural. There’s a great picnic area here with shade, tables, bathroom, water, beach, and parking.
