Jim, in the camping department is by far the greatest asset of the store. He is knowledgeable, helpful, super nice - and always goes the extra mile to make my experience the best. He even helped me put together products that I purchase at no extra expense. Ramsey outdoor should be proud to have people like Jim on staff. I will always come back to Ramsey outdoors for all of my outdoor needs.

Lots of ccol outdoor stuff from camping gear to kayaks to appereal. The almost real looking bear inside the store got my kids excited. The store also carried boy scout gear including patches. The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly.

Superb store, Joe in firearms was great. Super helpful, will be back to purchase in a few weeks.

This is a great outdoor shop in Jersey. Many of you might recognize the name from a couple of Sopranos episodes but the stores themselves are in a few different places in Jersey. If you need outdoor gear this is a great place to go. Not over priced and they have equipment for all outdoor activities.

Been shopping here for a long (long) time, used to go to the Paramus store when I lived near there. Came to the Roxbury store for the big sale, kept putting more and more things in the cart. Got home and ordered more stuff online. Good selection and helpful staff.

I’ve been going there for over 20 years. Started hiking and I had some needs. A backpack, a tent, a sleeping bag and a good pair of boots. As the years passed my needs grew and grew. To Clothes, fishing gear and ammo. I have bought my licenses from them. A mom and pop store that has it all. 2 locations that I know of, I’ve been to both. I’ll be back. Thanks Ramsey for making my out door adventures more memorable!

Excellent service and advise from John at the Succasunna branch. Even worth the drive from Staten Island to purchase my Thule Motion XT XXL Cargo Box.
Fitted as part of the service and a nice surprise a discount on Thule parts at the moment.
Would happily drive up there again when i need Outdoor Equipment.

I had a wonderful experience in the Succasunna store yesterday.
My visit was directly after chemo therapy and I was feeling a bit low. As i was wandering around busy employees were happy to help and provide guidance. One young lady really stood out.. Josie! she had given me guidance on one request, and then although she was busy and rushing around she saw me again and helped me, by taking the time to walk me across the store and pointing out the items I sought.
so pleasant and professional. Her treatment of me was so special I asked for the manager, and found out she was indeed a start employee.

Bought a rifle December 2022 from Ramsey Outdoor after having a terrible experience at RTSP on Rt. 10 in Randolph. The staff at Ramsey were over the top with being friendly and helpful. My buying experience from them was very pleasant. I have not purchased a gun from Ramsey since 1997, but I shop there several times a year for my wife and kids. Never had a bad experience at Ramsey Outdoor. Great job job again, Ramsey Outdoor.

Went in to buy a new hydro flask bottle. They had a nice selection. I haven't been in Ramsey's in a couple years and they have a wide selection of clothing, shoes, bags and accessories and equipment for the outdoors. The store is very welcoming upon entering. Definitely will be back.

Pricey, but we found exactly what we were looking for, and it was on sale.

Great local business with helpful friendly staff. Ramsey’s is my go to store for all things outdoors. The staff knows the products because they are outdoor people too. I would suggest stopping by the next time you’re in need of some outdoors gear.
