ShopRite of Wharton

One of the best Shop Rites in NJ. Prices are more higher than most supermarkets but with inflation out of control right now I will be lenient in my review. While prices are high but when it comes to costumer service , that is where this store shines. Very helpful employees. A top notch meat department, the bakery makes some delicious brownies and oatmeal cookies. Great bagels, doughnuts and every thing is so easy to find in this store. The lay out is great. The store is always clean and all employees are always smiling so you know the store is very well managed. Oh and lets not forget some of the best produce. My favorite the cosmic crisp apples. So delicious.

Most of the time I shop at night time. The Cashier Jerome is one of the most nice and helpful people of the night crew employees. I would give this place more than 5 stars all because he is one of the most helpful employees, and very fun to talk to. If you are looking for a great place to food shop, I would highly recommend checking them out. You will not be disappointed.

I would like to appreciate current Bakers specifically Cake ones. Ordered custom cake and it was really wonderful and tasty. All kids in party enjoyed and asked for more. Thanks for it.

Nice big store with a big parking lot,traffic is very busy at this location so plan your route ahead of time! Clean store with plenty of staff and fresh food and checkout is a breeze with lots of self checkouts or if you need assistance there are lots of cashiers ready to help

This is why I come to this ShopRite and also the dessert look appetizing it clean organized and everyone is constantly doing something to make sure that customers keep coming back they even have manager specials.... Which other ShopRite do not have wish all ShopRite were like this one Hoboken ShopRite take some lessons from this ShopRite 👍

For a supermarket it's very nice. It's open 24 hours a day with the exception of major holidays. There's lots of common foodstuffs as well as some upscale items. The employees are kind and helpful. There's a customer service desk where they help people resolve any potential problems and answers questions.

Nice varied selection of produce even off-season and overall a good place to get tasty food. It can get a little hectic and crowded on very busy days such as Saturday or Sunday afternoon or around holidays but that's with most stores.

Decent parking and there's a dedicated liquor store off to the side. There's also a small Dunkin donuts near the entrance and a place to get fresh cooked hot food from the buffet.

This place is convenient and clean. And the staff are very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend going here

The gift basket station in the shoprite liquors is amazing!!! Such beautiful and custom work!

First time I came here with my wife and parents, we left soon after sitting down. The reason, it was packed and the waitress told us the kitchen was backed up. People looked happy and the staff were hustling.

Visited this past week and it was less packed. Staff was helpful and happy. Pizza was on point and the Sara's Mac And Cheese was delicious.

Will definitely return when I'm in the area!

This ShopRite just completed a major renovation which turned out great. New refrigeration, better organized, and a fresh look. Prices continue to be excellent and variety is good.
Since the bag ban, they seem to have more cashier's to account for slower self bagging which is muck appreciated.

Love all the meals they have ready to go, my kids love the California sushi rolls.

First time @ ShopRite in Wharton - had groceries delivered from there & was happy.
Store was busy but clean & organized. Deli staff was very nice. Found everything we were looking for & more - look forward to doing our grocery shopping @ this location!

As s busy mom the ShopRite curbside pickup is an awesome feature this ShopRite had implemented. All products if not available have a replacement option. And delivery to vehicle couldn't be easier. Thanks for making my like easier 👍👍

Produce is fresh and available. Cooked items at the deli area look delicious.

Go by and do your shopping and pickup a package of fries chicken. For $9.99 for 8 pieces it is a better deal than the fast food places.

We have shopped at all of our local shoprite stores and my husband and I agree the Wharton Shoprite is by far our favorite. Your produce dept is the best of all of them. It is extremely well stocked, easy to get around. Everything is fresh Colorful, and extremely clean. All of your other areas are also well stocked clean, and very organized. And any time we need help there is always someone there to help us.
Keep up the good work. And we will always shop there.. Thank you to everyone who works so hard. And a special thanks to all of your friendly cashiers!

Gianna from the flower department is wonderful!!! I called the Floral dept at the Wharton ShopRite asking if they’d be able to help me with flowers for an upcoming bridal shower. I dropped the ball and forgot about the flowers and I asked 2 other companies for their business and they were unhelpful and unprofessional. I called on July 4th with 5 days notice. Gianna helped me over the phone with the most perfect flowers for my bridal shower. She was so calm and helpful. She even put her own ideas in and suggested other flowers that would go well with what I had ordered. She is so delightful! She made my experience comfortable, and reassured me that everything was going to go great!

The aisles are very easy to navigate. They always have everything I need in stock all the time. I think it's also a convenience that the liquor store is connected to the ShopRite so you can do all your shopping in one place. But the food is always fresh. Especially love the sushi bar area. If you can't decide what you want for dinner they have so many choices already prepared. Love best ShopRite

Used to be my first choice for groceries when i lived in the area. Vegetables are abundant and fresh, the fish section could probably use a bit more variety, but their fish are fresh and tasty. Good selection of meats. Their bakeryis on site, very talented people work there. Their staff is kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend shopping here.
