Liberty Tavern

I've lived less than 2 miles away from this place for about 10 years, drove past it a million times and about half those times thought, I need to check this place out. Ends up it's a great local place and I can say that the beer is cold and the nachos are delicious. I'll be heading back.

What a cute tavern! Extremely friendly service, lunch was over and they still let us order the Amazing cod sandwich.We started with the slider's the cod and the LT and enjoyed the pizza.My daughter enjoyed the Liberty tavern slider so much she had that as her meal,she couldn't even finish it, gigantic burger made perfectly.We enjoyed the cod so much also gigantic made to a Krispy on the outside and light and flaky cod on the inside.I was amazed by the sides they offered the cream tomato soup as one was excellent they also had great fries and side salad's.The price's the quality and atmosphere definitely worth going! Did I mention the drinks also looked delish!

It was my first time here and Racheal, my bartender gave me wonderful service and knowledge about the history of the place. Drinks were very reasonable prices. Will definitely return!

Another hidden Gem. Very friendly atmosphere, great food, drinks and did I mention a pool table. Lol

Here we are again. Great place to meet and watch the NCAA tournament. Great wings and food. Turkey club is awesome!
Every two months or so, I'm back. Greatest wings again and the nachos were awesome!

Every time I come is a good time..the bartenders are awesome..the pool table is clean..the jukebox is lit and food is always right on time..love it here..this place has been added to my list of hangouts just this year!

It's the Liberty. It's the best. Hipster or can't drink a cocktail out of a pint glass... Please don't go.

Cheap beer good food, one of the few dives in the area, will be back for a PBR on ice and a chicken cheesesteak. Can’t go wrong.

Just great local bar friendly bartender family atmosphere. I wouldn't say it is a dive bar but a real bar a man's bar. But women are always welcome and highly appreciated LOL. Live music at times pool table. Jukebox and fair pricing. Haven't tried the food yet but I'm sure that's good too

Total dive bar, didn't even have all the pucks for the giant shuffleboard table. But it is awesome. Yeah there are some local personalities around, but they were totally cool. PLUS...this place serves the best wings in all of Union county.

Great old style shot and a beer joint. Great food as well. If your looking for gourmet food and high end drinks do all of us old school pub people a favor, go somewhere else. This place is perfect as is.

Great Crowd and GREAT Rock n’ Roll Band 4 FLIGHT ROCK!! We had a Great time. The place was packed and everyone ...EVERYONE was so friendly. Great Bar service ..especially Justine! Bring that band back real soon.. Had a Great GREAT Time! Yeah!!

I cant say anything bad about the place. The food was better than some higher priced restaurants. The service was above excellent . The wings were to die for. The bartender and bar maid where very friendly and attentive. We left a nice tip because they deserved it. They also have a outside area where you can sit drink and smoke and eat and the regulars in the bar were very very friendly. What can I say? I am going back soon as I can.

Been going to The Lib for over 20 years and Dennis and his crew have never failed me. Great food and drink with a super atmosphere. Awesome place tp hold a fantasy draft party or watch the Sunday games on any of over a dozen tv's.

This place is a great oasis in Union. Although its no five star club nor a vip lounge. It's exactly what you need it to be. A friendly tavern in town. People respect each other here (with the aid of bartender Ronnie of course who makes everyone feel at home) there is no pressure to be anything you are not and people simply smile. Enjoy.

The bar has a good atmosphere, everyone who wants to have a good and soulful rest with a cup of coffee or a glass of beer with fish - I advise to come here.
