Of all the uniform stores I’ve dealt with in more than 18 years in law enforcement, this is by far the best one. Best staff, least amount of issues, most stuff in stock and they actually seem to care.

Positive and knowledgeable staff. Friendly staff and very helpful. Will be definitely recommending this place to others and making future purchases here.

Judy and all of the staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the best custom apparel, gear, and equipment. Sometimes their orders are significantly delayed up to 1 month. However, quality takes time and patience and is always worth the wait. I will always come back.

Place is packed full of gear, if you need it, chances are they have it. They take the complete opposite approach of Galls in Newark, where they say basically everything needs to be ordered. Staff is great, knowledgeable of their products, not trying to money grab but actually guiding you to what might work best for you. Not my first time there, and their service keeps me coming back.

Ive been going to fit rite in union for about 4 years now, and hands down have had the best experience there. With the helpful staff who are very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly this store definitely takes pride in what they do. Even having 3 uniform stores less then 20 minutes away from me, I still choose to drive over an hour because I know the work here will get done fast and correct the first time. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, they’re helping you instantly and making sure you get what you need, in a very timely fashion. Joe is one of the employees who has helped me get all my stuff done as quick as he could; make sure to go there for all your uniform needs you’ll be glad you did.

This store is one of the closest ones to me. Service is good but theyre always busy and sometimes you have to wait, but they do great work and have a very good selection.

Awesome service and friendly staff, as always. They have pretty much everything in stock. Turn around time on alterations is only a few days, sometimes same day. Couldn't ask for better!

My crew was helped by Sean Cass for our job shirts. He’s great, efficient and knowledgeable. He gave suggestions, and after discussing it with him, we received the shirts to our specifications faster than expected. When you have the need to go to Fit Rite, ask for him, he’ll get the job done.

Fit-Rite is a great place to get all of your uniform items. The staff is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The owners are wonderful people and bend over backwards to get you what you need. I will never shop anywhere else.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. I was in a major time crunch. I needed a class A uniform for my Fire Academy graduation. My jacket size was not in so they went the size up and literally made the jacket into my size. They were polite and funny. They also created POCKETS on the jacket because my department has false pockets on the jacket. David took care of me but the the store runs like a well oiled machine. They tailored the pants for me . Here is the best part, they did it in ONE DAY! I went yesterday at 15:00 and The just called me today at 13:00 that my entire Class A uniform is done. They were literally amazing and this review does not do them justice. I will be a customer here for as long as I am a Firefighter.

Just started going to this store and have had nothing but a great experience. They always have what I need in stock that day and the staff is very welcoming and willing to help you. Safe to say I will be using them for all of my uniform needs.

Best experience I've had too date. Matt was super easy to deal with and handled everything I needed with my new uniform shirt. Couldn't ask for a better guy to stop and see when I need stuff in the future!

Fit-Rite is a wonderful local business that always has what I need. I am always getting uniform pieces at Fit-Rite because they have an extensive stock and I can always walk out the same day with what I was looking for. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional and are always eager to help, even making suggestions for comfortable BDUs etc! You can never go wrong with Fit-Rite. It's an EMS whacker's paradise. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

It's like being a kid in a candy store at this Fire/EMS/Police speciality retailer. Sure, you can purchase your items on Amazon, but these guys cater to our line of work / volunteer and they do a great job getting you what you need. Plus, doesn't it feel great helping out the community owners? I purchased a pair of EMS pants which, off the shelf, look like clown pants with the bagginess and pockets. They did an amazing job tailoring them, all with great service. Back away from the Amazon shopping cart (even it if benefits your department) and get yourself to this place quick. I mean, you have lights & sirens - don't you?

I was sent here from Deal PD to get both a uniform and accessories for SLEO 1 Position. Everyone was very helpful and I found everything I needed. On top of that everything I purchased was at a reasonable cost. Definitely check Fit Rite Uniform Co out!

This store offered to exchange a police jacket that has been in our auxiliary stock for well over a year for a smaller size. That is service you offer when you truly care about the men and women that come by the store. No other place would do something like that since you don't get any profit, but they would do that anyway if it meant a well dressed recruit. Sadly the jacket models didn't match but the initiative on the part of the staff was noteworthy.

From several occurances over the last couple months, Fit Rite has proven to possess far more than just a great selection of gear. They have great customer service skills and make it so much easier to purchase equipment without any doubts, their staff is very knowledgeable in their respected positions. I have had no problems with any uniforms, patches, gear, etc. I appreciate the quality of their work and their efforts to supply EMS, Fire,Police, (etc) with what they need to go out and serve the communities to the fullest capacity, and by FitRite's excellent work ethic and skills I can acquire everything I need to do my job.
