Cousins Woodfire Pizza Cafe

Cousin's has been here for 40+ years. Their pastries, pies & baked goods are some of the best around. I used to buy their Mile-High Apple Pie years ago when I lived in the area. It was one of the best pies I ever had 🙂 In 2021, the owner retired, and a new owner took over. The original baker is still there,making the pies & pastries.
The pizza is outstanding! The owner makes the dough fresh every day. You really can't make a wrong choice with any of their pizzas. One of my family's favorites is the Mona Lisa Pizza with smoked mozzarella, fennel sausage, and caramelized onions... delicious 😊

Really good pizza, service was patient with us new visitors. We also had guests that usually take a while to decide, and they were very helpful and kind. The sweets looked amazing, I’ll definitely be returning for pizza and to finally get some dessert!

DEFINITELY WORTH THE STOP!

The food is good here! The wings were good, the salad was so fresh and the pasta was on point. The person that helped us (a curly young woman) was very nice!!! We also got a cake 🎂 Happy with the experience.

On Thanksgiving Day we noticed the pizza place and stopped by to have a light lunch. The owner prepared it for us and was very welcoming. The sandwiches were delicious. If you're on the road, put this place in your plan when you want to stop for meal.

I tried a fresh pizza and it was great. this last time i just took a few slices they had premade. The slices were still fresh and good after they reheated them in the oven.

I get the chicken pesto pie about once a month. It's always made fresh to order, hot and tasty!

Alrighty Now!! So we were leaving the beautiful area of Wingdale NY & decided to take 55 out to pick up this coffe if we ran into. Unfortunately that didn't happen. As we passed this spot that my hubby happened to stop in the other day and bragged so much about, I wanted to stop in really because I was looking fir a decent breakfast. So we pull over, walk in & I immediately start to hve a conniption. Theyvhad every kind ofvsweet you could imgine. The younglady at the front was busy hustling the fresh made coffe & I assume the owner was in back prepping for the days meals he would definitely sell. So we look around & Bam I spot something that could be fritters but its not, its Bread Pudding. But I order my breakfast first, homefries, soft eggs & bacon with rye toast. That was so good think I ate it too fast for a photo will check. Then my hubby oders the pecan strudel I think which was ridiculously made with love!!. So as I walked to the counter to pay for breakfast I decide on getting the bread pudding & hubby throws in a apple danish as well🙄🙄 All I can say is that I should hve purchased 2 if those puddings. They were just right nit overly sweet just perfect. I did share 2 slices with my neighbors & as I devour the last piece I wish that I had waited.😩😩 So I give Cafe Cousins 2 thumbs up & a snap. Looking to return very soon to this spot.

This place is awesome! They don’t miss out on the ingredients. It’s fully stacked with fresh products. You can clearly see the meat layer unlike subway where it slightly sticks out from the side. Grab yourself a sami!

Without a doubt best pizza that we have had in a very long time.
Just the right amount of toppings and cheese. Thin pizza with a lite fluffy crust. The wood fired charring of the pizza gives it an incredible taste.
Cannot say enough good things about it.
And don’t leave without taking home some of the baked treats that are on offer.
Purchased some brownie bits and macaroons with my pizza last night and there were awesome.
Worth every penny.

I am no longer a big pizza eater due to lifestyle changes but my family and I were on our way home from a camping trip and stopped at Cousins for a pizza. It was fantastic! The sauce was just the right amount of sweet and there was plenty of cheese!! Really good eats!!

Owner is a very nice, soft-spoken guy making good pizza right in front of you. My daughter LOVED her pepperoni slices.

Wow! Just wow. This place is amazing! Pizza, sandwiches and pasta are on point. Deffinitly authentic Italian chefs behind the recipes. The service was also fantastic. Fun and friendly staff. If you need something italian..Italian... they got it!

Cousins Cafe always has amazing and fresh baked goods every time I’ve gone! The Almond Danish is so so so good and tasty! It’s my favorite from here! Customer Service has always been a great experience! Thank you for all that you do!

One of the best pizzeria places around. Quality, quality quality. Tony, his friendly wife and staff have always treated my visit as if I was part of the family. Sandwiches are great, baked goods will exceptional.
