Amazing Heroes

For the past two years, I have bought my nephew’s Christmas present here and I will continue to do so! Customer service is great, especially for someone who knows only a little bit about what I am shopping for. I have only good things to say, and my son loves the “$1 amazing box” at the register, made shopping very motivating for him too!

This is a top-tier comic shop. It has an excellent collection of new and old comics, one of the best collections of trade paperbacks in the area, figurines and more. The store is well organized, packed with stuff - and everything you would expect in a classic old school comic shop.

Steve, the owner, knows comics well and can provide valuable guidance and information. Prices are reasonable, and the stock is high quality - and in some cases, unique. I picked up some things I was looking for that I hadn't seen in other shops. Check Amazing Heroes out if you are in NJ. It's worth the visit.

Awesome shop - clearly the best selection of trade paperbacks in the area. If you're looking for *the* comic shop, look no further. Also carries magic the gathering and a super cool selection of vintage games and toys. Friendly atmosphere, and I didn't catch the owners name (my mistake) but he's been there for 35 years and I can see why. Will absolutely be back.

Favorite comic store, their trade paperback collection is extraordinary!!! So many out of print books on top of all the new collected editions!!! Awesome collection of slabbed books too!!! Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already!!!

They have a good selection of trading cards, comic books, and other merchandise at Amazing Heroes. The owner is friendly and will put in certain orders if you're looking for something specific.

I remember getting tons of booster packs here during my college days. If you'd like to pick out singles instead of trying your luck with booster packs, they have a number of binders you can look through.

If you're just getting into collecting cards you can pick up sleeves and binders here as well. As someone who is really into Pokémon card collecting, it's always a treat when I stop by here. I even picked up a Burger King toy from 1999 here the other week. They have a nice selection of both old and new merchandise.

Amazing Heroes has been my home away from home for a long time. I come here to get away from it all. I love comics. In addition to having a lot of books, Amazing Heroes carries a lot of other neat stuff too. The owner is a great guy. Steve is what makes this store so enjoyable. He's always helpful and he truly cares about his customers.
With a new location in the heart of Union Center, this store will serve us greatly for years to come. Thank you, Amazing Heroes. You guys are the best.

I come here a lot, as a pokemon Collector it's nice to see this shop always in stock when it comes to pokemon items. Ofcourse they have many other wonderful goodies. A something for everyone kinda store.. The owner has a wonderful goofy personality and his shop is clean and neatly organized. 100% would check this little gem out.

Went there for the first time today and was overwhelmed by their selection. It's like a trip down memory lane. It's totally an old-school comic/collectables store that operates under the golden rule of 'what you give is what you get'. If you are nice, then that is what you'll get...have an attitude? Well, I bet you'll get that back with interest. Super nice owner who was respectful, down to Earth, kind and REAL...qualities that are quickly disappearing in this all-too-sterilized world. Support them, we NEED places like this!

I love this store. They Friday night magic always has a nice turn out the owners are nice and caring. Their prices are competitive. Their stock is large and they always have the packs I'm looking for in stock. The customers are also friendly. All and all, I love it. Steve is one of the owners and he is super friendly, and funny too.

READ MY REVIEW. First time there today, I can’t agree with some of the reviews here, BUT... I guess that’s because I’m a 30 year old guy with an open sense of humor and don’t mind random conversation.... AND...I’m not an overly “sensitive about everything” millennial, sorry to the other reviewers, your soft. Anyway, I went to look for Pokémon and Magic card products. Steve the owner had a nice variety for both, along with other card selections for Yugioh, Argent Saga, Cardfight Vanguard, and others. He and 2 other men in the store were friendly and welcoming. They spoke to me about a few events the store had coming up. He had quite a few products I hadn’t seen before, so I purchased a few. The stores pricing is average for anywhere you go, but more variety, so it’s a win-win. ILL BE BACK -Arnold.

This is my favorite place to shop comics, action figures, statues, graphic novels and many more. This place has a great selection of comics not just marvel and dc. It has tons of indi comics from different companies like Image, aftershock, dark horse, valiant....etc. if you are a card collector this is your place. The owner is very nice, he also lets you reserve your copies. You can pick your copies the next day or even weeks after the release day. Of course after a couple weeks he will give you a call and ask if you still want to keep your copies. This is amazing. Specially for people like me that doesn't have the time to go every Wednesday.... comic is life.

This is a wonderful place for anyone that's genuinely into comics. There is a wide selection. Not to mention they are more than willing to suggest titles. Even patrons are kind enough to engage with you because this is a lifestyle. Provided that the current society thinks it's "cool" to get into our "nerdy" habits and be judge mental .. I fault that.. Honestly I'm pretty sure he will order what you want. The owner is incredibly diverse and accepting. I found stuff that I look for everywhere so if ur looking for amazing Spider-Man go on eBay but if you want quality good reads come here there's a plethora of amazing trademark post and comics lovely place 😍😍😍😏😍😎

This is a great, well stocked store with an awesome owner who is knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately, I don't live close, but I stop in from time to time to get some trade paperbacks and marvel master works

Great selection store is much larger than others locally, customer service is through the roof with everyone for free comic book day! Spent a over $100 on the quality and collection they have available highly recommend.

A comic shop for comic fans. The owner, Steve, speaks Geekanese in multiple dialects fluently and is always willing to help out fans of all ages and kinds. Trading cards, teasing card games, comics, dice, and figurines are all available here.

Steve is very knowledgeable about comics, collector cards and gaming cards. You have a question, he has the answer or knows where to get it. Great inventory on trade paperbacks, hardcovers and statues.

Steve the owner is the best. I've been going here since I was 15 and look forward to picking up new issues every Wednesday as well as having great conversations with Steve and other guest.

They have a great selection from everything I've heard. Have not got to visit yet, but they are on my list next time I'm in the area.

The best littlest comic book shop in the world. The owner is always fun and friendly. Make sure to ask him a question he knows everything about comics.

It’s a nice small store the person running the counter was friendly and helpful. They did not have a lot of tcg singles like I hoped, but I wont dock points for it.
