Over the years I have used several different house painting companies here in New Jersey. Solis has turned out to be the best of them. Unlike many of the others, the team is detail-oriented and they take their time to ensure the job is well-done and complete. Gabriel, Tony and the rest of the team were true professionals. I would highly recommend Solis to anyone looking for a company they can trust with their home.

Highly recommend. Great price and great turnaround time with great quality. Our walls were in bad shape but the team spackled and sanded and made all of the walls smooth. Wish I had some before photos to see the transformation from the team.

Alan, Gabriel and their team did an amazing job painting our new house. Alan was very responsive in getting a quote and went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready before we moved in. The quote was very fair. It make our moving experience much more enjoyable. Gabriel pays attention to the detail and he made sure that every wall and trim was done to perfection. They also painted our exterior shutters and made our new home look even better! We are so happy with their services and highly recommend Solis!

Outstanding! Rarely do you find a contractor such as Alan Solis with such personal care, professionalism, craftsmanship and integrity that all deserve five stars. This was our experience with Alan Solis and his team. We live in Summit and were originally going to accept the contract with a very high profile contractor. At the last minute we decided to go with Alan and that was the the best decision we ever made on our remodel. Alan and his team worked for us for four months. What was originally planned as just a one week painting project turned into--at our choosing--an expanded remodel---all because of the wonderful work and relationship we had with Alan.

Alan will bend over backwards to insure the quality of the work is impeccable and more than acceptable to you. He is fair, honest and personally attends to the job every single day. His team also is honest, and easy to have in your home. Honestly, I don't know where to stop in my accolades for him. He really is that great of a man---that capable of a contractor---and that honest and skilled in all he does! I can't say enough.

My wife and I recently had all our interior home painted (2 floors).

Alan, the owner is very fair (pricing), professional and honest. He was there every step of the way in our painting project, without being asked and typically came in the morning before the crew to inspect the previous day's work and then go over it when they came.

As for our project, we had built in cabinets in our living room area which they meticulously unscrewed, sanded, painted with 3 coats, and installed back. We also had our stairwell sanded, primed, and painted. Alan consulted with us and got a great custom color to match the floors.

His crew are very courteous, hard working and aim to please. They moved everything to the middle of the room and covered it with plastic so nothing would be stained. At the end of each day, they cleaned up after themselves. Lastly, they finished the entire work ahead of schedule (6 days when initially estimated over a week) and the quality of work was superb.

We will definitely go with them for any other projects we have. I highly recommend using them, and will do so to my friends/family as well.

I am absolutely thrilled with the services provided by Solis Painting. They did a remarkable job painting the exterior of my Tudor-style house. The project involved replacing numerous weather-damaged beams and updating the trims around the windows. Their carpentry work was exceptional, exceeding my expectations.

Alan is the absolute best!! My sister found him 2 years ago through online recs and we have since had him and his team paint the interiors and exteriors of our own homes, our sister's, parents, grandparents, neighbors - you name it! He recently stained our deck, noticed a carpentry repair that needed to be done, and did not even charge us to do it. Never have I recommended anyone so highly because Alan is so honest, fair, hardworking. His quotes are always less than others in the area for the same exact high quality job, and when the job is done he never adds on surprise fees or extras. We feel so lucky to have found him.

EDIT - we moved and had Solis Painting do the entire exterior and interior of the new house. Gabriel ran this team and once again absolutely INCREDIBLE JOB. A very very nice family run business that is always at the top of my list for recommendations for friends.

I used Solis Painting for the new house we purchased in Berkeley Heights in May 2023. Gabriel and his team were FANTASTIC. Very professional, on time, and very affordable (for a family that bought a new house). We had a wonderful experience with Solis Painting! Alan was able to meet with me a couple of hours after calling him to explain the work I was looking to have done in my new home. When I asked his opinion on how to handle certain repairs to my walls he was very honest, not at all pushing me to do the more expensive fix which I truly appreciated. His pricing was fair and he was able to put me on his schedule quickly. His crew was amazing. They were neat, fast and did a beautiful job. The work took a bit longer than expected (because they were extremely thorough). When I reached out to Alan and explained that I needed the job done in order to move furniture in he immediately arranged for more crew members to join so they could finish on time, all while he was away on vacation. Alan really went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were happy with the work. He was professional and considerate. I can't say enough about Solis Painting. They went above and beyond anything I could have possibly imagined. Wallpaper removal, carpet removal, and beautiful interior painting. Even more, the workers were so kind and friendly, and Gabriel who ran the show was amazing. If there was a question, I could text or call him and he would answer immediately. In this day and age, no one does that. He truly cares about this company. It was a pleasure having this job done and my house looks completely transformed. It took a little longer than expected because the job was pretty big, but they did things with a smile each day. I would definitely use them again. Thank you!

Alan and his team did an outstanding job which was considerably better than the previous painters we had used a few years back. Everything was handled well and professionally. And the price was extremely reasonable. Given the estimate I kept expecting them to cut corners or charge more for hidden extras but Solis kept to their word and I couldn't be happier about the work they performed. It's been a month now and we are heading into the winter season. I love how the house looks for the holidays. They paid particular attention to all of the trim. And the carpentry work they did to repair some of the weather damage we had looks great! I am so grateful that my neighbor recommended Solis. I can't wait to see how well they do with interior work.
