Got some take away and it was amazing. Everything is gluten free. The the fried chicken is amazing. The portabella mushroom tasted fantastic. The green curry with cauliflower rice has a great taste a flavor. Then there was the ber as we waited for our food. They all were mind blowing. Had to get a growler of the Ruby Rad plus a mixed four pack. Masks are still required until seated which I appreciate. Plus they take your temperature.

We enjoy supporting local craft breweries, and eating a healthier way, which made Anything But Beer a PERFECT date night choice. We spent a Saturday evening sampling the craft drinks and tasting the food here. Michael, our server, provided EXCELLENT service. The building was beautifully restored from the 1800's. Without realizing it, we spent several hours enjoying ourselves. VERY DIFFERENT from traditional craft breweries, but definitely worth a stop.

We stopped in at Anything But Beer for brunch after the Mountain Goat Run. I loved the space and I loved that there were so many clearly labeled vegan options on the menu!

I got the Chickpea Scramble, which was delicious, especially because it was served over home fries. The staff was friendly and it was a great place to spend time on a Sunday. I'll be back!

Some of the best food in Syracuse, gluten or no gluten! I’m gluten free and miss being able to eat “normal” food like Mac & cheese, fries, and sandwiches. ABB knocks it out of the park. The menu is interesting, almost everything can be made vegan, and most importantly, it’s GOOD. The food has real flavor, plus it’s inventive. Blueberry preserve ketchup, portobello Reuben, crispy fried plantain “buns”... it’s high-end food and the best gluten free meal I’ve had in 10 years.

The fact that they can meet almost any dietary restriction is 5 stars in my book. On top of that, they have a beautiful space, very unique drinks with some fun summer cocktails, and a new released menu with awesome choices. Everything I have tried is super flavorful and delicious. They are wonderful people. Could not recommend enough!!!

Nice change of pace brewpub in Syracuse. Some unique options on the menu like lettuce wraps, calliflower mac and some interesting other veg/gluten free options.

We tried a couple flights of their beverages. I really enjoyed the majority of them - especially the whiskey apple one. It tasted lightly like whiskey but not cidery. There was one drink with cardamom that both of us really didn't care for.

The environment was nice. It's clean, has character, but isn't over the top in any particular way. You'll likely notice modern touches here and there, which I personally fine appealing. It's worth noting that tonight it was quite cool in there - everytime the door opened a gush of cold air sent chills through the place. I was going to lower a star, but due to it being early on and the fact that it's extremely cold (5 degrees right now in Syracuse) I think it's probably okay. I don't think that will always be an issue.

I'm excited and hopeful about Anything But Beer. Give it a chance, it's not your stereotypical craft brew pub. It's nice to see a local company doing something interesting with craft alcohol. It's a cool trend that I think has awesome potential.

Delicious food and no worries about getting sick when you are gluten free. Definitely going back. Wish I could give more stars. HUGE THANKS! If I had to give a negative, the pickled carrots (too tart) and beans (bit dry) were my least liked items.

On this particular visit I had the Teriyaki Salmon with glazed carrots and coconut cauliflower rice, and shared a side of their gnocchi mac and cheese. Everything is always so good here and it's all gluten free!

If you are looking for unique flavors, you got it. To appreciate sip the water or your flavor pallet will be confused. Our bartender and server were the best

Awesome place to grab a drink and some food! Even though I’m not GF, all the food and drinks were amazing! The service was excellent!

So delicious!! Wow, vegan was great, and I'm a carnivore! The smashed salt potatoes with blueberry ketchup were my favorite. But potato skins came in close second. The selection of beer and ciders is very impressive! The service was great, too! Big party of 7, it was wonderful! We"ll be back and use their catering service too!

Fantastic restaurant! Great food and wonderful selection of gluten-free brews. The Root Less Traveled was a favorite, nice mix of sweet potato and pie spices. It was a real treat to eat at a dedicated GF restaurant. It's nice to not have to worry about what you are eating. Crispiest fried chicken I've had in years. Highly recommend.

Anything But Beer has a vast selection of dietary restriction-friendly foods. Everything is Gluten free. They have a ton of dairy free options and most menu items have vegan substitutes. I can't eat dairy so I really appreciate that they have amazing dairy free "cheese" options. They taste so much better here than vegan cheese you buy at the store. I can't say enough good things about their vegan mac and cheese (made with homemade gnocchi - an unsuspected yet delicious twist) and I tried their cashew fondue my most recent visit. Their fermented beverages offer something for everything. Some are on the sweeter side, while some are a little more dry. They have guest brews as well if you are looking for beer.
They have the friendliest staff, including our waiter. This is a really unique spot in Syracuse and I recommend it to all. Even though the menu isn't large, it still feels like there are a lot of options. Everything I have tried so far is delicious and there is still way more on the menu that sounds amazing and needs to be tasted.

This place has been the best find and a life saver since my spouse had to stop eating gluten. The food and alcohol are always good. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing. We drive an hour to eat here and buy cans/grumblers. When something we want isn't on tap, the recommendations for other drinks to try are always on point and so good. They are our favorite lunch spot downtown, especially in warmer weather because we can bring our dog.

Took my granddaughter for a "ladies night out"The staff was busy but friendly & attentive. Love the historic aspects of the building with a bit of modern flair. The menu offers great options for vegan, gluten free, grain free meals, appetizers, desserts + drinks. Compliments to the chef, my granddaughter wanted to give a 6 out of 5 stars. We had some cookies for dessert, which I have to say looked a little dry, but once I began eating one it was actually very good, don't let the looks fool you. Delightful experience all around, thank you Anything But Beer

Visiting Syracuse for the first time and researched into gluten free restaurants. Came across Anything But Beer and knew we had to check it out. Extremely blown away by the extensive gluten free/vegan/allergy friendly food and drink menu!! My fiancĂ© is celiac, and having a place where we don’t have to worry about any gluten is so amazing for a change! The food was out of this world! We highly recommend the Mac and cheese and potato skins!! Plus the burgers came on a homemade plantain bun instead of a dry gluten free bun!! Overall very impressed and would highly recommend!! 😍

Great food !! learned what a plantain was (it's a banana type.) tried 4 of the gluten free drink options, all were very impressive. i recommend the maple sap lemonade for a summer moment. service is very nice and the place has that old fashioned tile and wood building atmosphere that's housing a fun funky place. must go for anyone with gluten sensitivity or celiac, i think.

This place is a gluten free heaven! My partner and I both have celiac, and it’s such a treat that everything is safe to eat. Not only that, it’s DELICIOUS. The chef is incredible. Complex flavors and great service. Plus in a gorgeous place that used to be an old luxury jewelry store. Definitely stop here. P.s whoever is in charge of music: I adore you. 90s kids forever 💕
