Prices are way too high! They make lots of their own lumber so they incur minimal freight costs. $8 for a 2x4 when home Depot, Menards and other similar sized competitors are selling for $4.50? Plywood and treated lumber is even worse. In my opinion, Pukall lumber takes advantage of our tourist town by sky high prices, which ends up hurting the locals. When I'm building a home and need more than a few boards, I take a drive 40 minutes east to Rhinelander and save almost 50pct.
