The owner is very nice. Place is cozy and the food was excellent. Ask for Marvin as your server. He is amazing!

We have a group of about 8 friends that all taught together for about 35 years. We are all retired for at least 10 years. The gathering is put together and we meet at different steakhouses in our area. Vintage always gives us a great table and treats us with a lot of attention. You can guarantee your meal will come out piping hot and cooked to perfection, the side dishes are delicious as well . We have a great evening of conversation and rememberance. We enjoy the atmosphere. The employees are warm and friendly.

Delicious steak dinner! Make a reservation if you want to come here, outside and indoor seating, social distancing in place. Outdoor was a heated tent.. We arrived for our reservation and seated immediately as we requested indoor when making reservations. Great atmosphere, fire place in dining room, waiter was super nice, food, drinks and dessert top notch, worth every penny. French onion soup one of the best I've ever had! The sides served plentiful enough for 2 or 3 people. Staff friendly, Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great and nice place for a date. This restaurant is so popular, so Remember to reserve a seat in advance. My husband and I had a table outside, it was also conformable. The creamy steak and Wagyu are highly recommended! High quality beef were cooked with care. Love ❤ this space

Wow! Thank you to my incredible husband for making a reservation at Vintage! We celebrated our Valentine’s Day a few days early to beat the crowd. The food was top notch and the service was incredible. I can’t believe I waited so long before trying this steakhouse.

Located on North Country Road, the restaurant is located in a shopping center filled with other small businesses. There were some parking spots in front of the restaurant, but not an over abundance.

Inside, the restaurant is small but gorgeous. It was very clean. The tables were spaced far apart.

I was able to get a reservation on Opentable, super convenient. When I arrived, I was seated immediately. My suggestion...try to get the earliest reservation possible. Even on a random Thursday night, the restaurant had no available tables as it got later in the evening.

The service was great! Our server, Carlos, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He went over the specials with us and answered all the questions we had. He frequently checked on us. Water refills came around often. The timing of the food was spaced far apart. I was able to enjoy one course at a time without feeling rushed. My only disappointment during my meal is that soda refills aren’t included. Each soda is $3 a pop.

I ordered a few French Martinis and was very impressed. I recommend them.

The food was spectacular!! I can’t wait to come back. I was blown away by the number of food choices. The food prices were 100% worth it! I had a great meal. All steaks are ala carte. I will be reviewing what I tried:
-Complimentary Bread Basket with butter: Very fresh bread, warm, a variety of pieces and was given quite a few pieces.

-French Onion Soup: WHAT I’M ABOUT TO SAY IS NO EXAGGERATION...this is the BEST French Onion Soup I’ve ever had!!! The bowl it’s served in is absolutely huge. Tons of melty cheese on top, perfectly cooked onions, delicious broth. I 100% recommend this app. 5 out of 5 stars

-Thai Calamari: After I had my soup, I predicted that the rest of my meal was going to be just as great and I was right. This calamari was so tender. I was able to cut it in half with my salad fork! The sauce on top of the calamari was absolutely delicious. This is perfect to share between 1-3 people (the portion isn’t huge). 5 out of 5 stars

-Filet Mignon Medallions: This entree was suggested to me on the Facebook Group “Long Island Food and Drink” and I’m so happy I went for it. As a Gorgonzola lover, I was very impressed. My steak was cooked to a perfect rare! The port wine reduction brought all of the flavors together. Came with 3 decent sized medallions and topped with crispy onions. 5 out of 5 stars

-Cowboy Steak Special ($63): 20oz and is the same as the cowboy steak on the regular menu + it’s garlic crusted and has crispy onions on top. The garlic crust was amazing. The steak was cooked to a perfect med rare and it was so juicy. 5 out of 5 stars

-Lobster Mac & Cheese: Perfect side to go with your steak or even could be ordered as an appetizer. Tons of lobster meat inside. 5 out of 5 stars

-Vintage Stuffed Potato: So delicious and huge! Definitely could share this side. Loaded with lots of cheese & bacon. 5 out of 5 stars

-Vintage Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Gelato: A perfect way to end a fantastic meal. This cake was super fudgey. 5 out of 5 stars

Overall, I’m so happy with my early Valentine’s Day celebration at Vintage. Can’t wait to come again.

I LOVE French onion soup, and a picture does not do theirs justice! It was so delicious and perfectly cooked. My Ny strip was delicious and so juicy. We ordered dessert and I started singing to my friend being silly. The waiter heard me and came back over with a candle and stuck it in his apple cobler ( which he said was amazing). I thought that was so sweet of him to do. Overall the food and staff were amazing. The staff made us feel safe and followed covid guidelines. I'd definitely recommend Vintage

Absolutely LOVE this place! We had an amazing 5-star meal and service experience and will gladly drive an hour again to eat here! Calamari, Beet Salad and Clams Casino were excellent. The NY strip steak and filet mignon were just outstanding!!! Lobster mac-n-cheese is a MUST too! The creme brulee and bananas foster for dessert are all just incredible! Just GO!

Very nice steakhouse in the town of St. James on Long Island. The prices are what you'd expect at an upscale restaurant, but you definitely get your money's worth. They have a French Onion Soup that gets rave reviews, it was the best my wife's ever had. And she gets onion soup everywhere she goes. I had the salad that was the special for the evening. A Beet and Goat cheese salad with mixed greens. One of the most amazing things I've ever eaten. Delicious. My sister in law had the Burrata Caprese. It had prosciutto with shaved parmesan, greens and a nice bruschetta. But the reason for our vist, was the Steaks. My brother in law and I went for the T-Bone, with sides of grilled onions and mushrooms. The steaks were cooked medium rare, and were worth the price of admission. They were sizzling and massive. I took a good sized portion home to share with my son, it was a well received surprise. The Vintage stuffed potato was large enough for all four of us to share. It was very good. A side of garlicky steamed broccoli was also a very good addition to the meal. My wife and her sister got the Filet Mignon Medallions, with gorgonzola and crispy fried onions. There was enough for two meals, which is just what she made of it. Coffee and Pecan for myself and Apple Cobbler for my wife, rounded out the evening on a very high note. My sister in law had the Vintage coffee, an alcohol infused treat that she enjoyed very much.
All in all in was an amazing meal well worth the price. The restaurant was busy, masks were required and the tables were spaced accordingly. I would highly recommend Vintage Steakhouse to anyone who wants an excellent meal served in beautiful surroundings. The staff was the best, very attentive and on the ball.

From beginning to end, the experience was superb! Great food, great service and a great atmosphere. Vintage Steakhouse is a must for anyone who wants to experience fine dining. 5 stars!

Every experience has been exceptional. The food and service is always consistently awesome. All the serving staff work together to contribute to great service. Big shoutout to Carlos who makes us feel like royalty.

We're big Lugers fans and have said every time we've been to Vintage "Why do we need to travel west when we have this place in our backyard?" Excellent food, excellent service and a generally great atmosphere. Vintage is quickly becoming our favorite steakhouse.

Great meal overall. My girlfriend and I split the the Porterhouse steak which is intended for 2 to share. It had a great flavor particularly with the seared crust and it comes out sizzling on a hot plate. Our group also shared Lobster Mac & cheese along with creamed spinach. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

I won't knock the score but the menu is definitely a little limited. They could benefit from adding more appetizers and soup beyond just French Onion. They also have limited cocktails and no beer on tap. I wouldn't knock the score for it but you may want to make sure the menu options work for your group if they are on the picky side.

Everything we had at vintage was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a really great and romantic evening. The service was attentive but unintrusive, the asparagus Parmigiano was delicious as were the clams casino. Steak was cooked perfectly and tender like butter with a delicious crust. Overall 9/10 mashed potatoes were good not great though. Cocktail selection was somewhat limited (about 5 or so signature cocktails) but definitely good all delicious.
Edit: Lobster mac is to die for.

Went here for anniversary dinner and had such a great time. Our server, Marvin, was amazing and the food was fantastic as well. Would totally recommend for any occasion!!

Brooke the bartender is very friendly accommodating and knowledgeable. The servers are awesome. Gorgonzola salad fresh, flavorful, pork chop spectacular. Clams little how we like them fresh and clean. Never disappointed. Dessert options broad something for everyone. Entire staff professional

From appetizers to desserts, the food was superb. The ravioli were cooked al dente in a flavorful tomato sauce and crab cakes were packed with luscious crab meat.
My wife had the Rack of Lamb, I had the Cowboy Ribeye, both seasoned and cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes, cream spinach and mushrooms were all very flavorful. The pecan pie was not too sweet and blended with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our waiter was very attentive. Overall an excellent evening that we both enjoyed immensely. We've been to other fine steakhouses but Vintage is the best!

This place, hands down, is one of the best steakhouses I've been to. The service was amazing and the quality of meat is second to none. St. James has itself a gem 💎! Worth the hour drive from Queens! Thank you for the great experience!
