Recently had to rush my dog here. Didn’t receive great news unfortunately about my dog’s health but the caring, friendly, patient staff members were exactly what me and my dog needed. Justice was actually very comfortable here and he’s usually a nervous dog at doctors. Appreciated the thorough examination, thorough treatment and explanation. Thank you

I’ve been using West Hills veterinary hospital for my dogs for close to 30 years. I trust West Hills for quality care. All of the vets there are compassionate, caring and highly skilled. The fact that they are open 24/7/365 is reassuring for emergency situations.

We’ve been taking our maltipoo to see Dr. Lancer since she was a puppy. He always treats her as if she was his own dog. He’s kind and caring and always listens to our concerns. Our Chloe became diabetic two years ago, and he has managed her care expertly. If you are looking for a veterinarian, I would look no further.

My 9 month old kitty was having difficulty urinating very late on a weekend night. This can be a symptom of a serious condition that can quickly become fatal in male cats. I took him to West Hills as they were the only 24 hour facility I could locate in my area. I'm glad I did as the staff was very friendly and the outcome of treatment was good. The veterinarian explained everything to be done in detail which allowed me to make informed decisions, and shared his own cat experiences. He also suggested some preventative steps I could take, which our regular vet also recommended during the follow-up visit we had scheduled before this emergency. I felt that we received quality and compassionate care. I was also pleasantly surprised that the cost was reasonable, which seems to be rare with some other "extended hours" animal hospitals. Based on this sole experience I would not hesitate to recommend West Hills to friends and family.

The staff there has always been pleasant and accommodating. Any questions I have are answered and they give my pup Penny the best attention and care. Thank you to everyone at WHAH!!

Great vets available 24/7 makes West Hills the most convenient place to take my pet.
No wait or short wait times, the staff is friendly and calm my anxious pet.
Plenty of parking, comfortable waiting area with TV and coffee- but the wait is never long.
If only they treated people here !

We had an urgent issue with our dog and were immensely grateful for the prompt and compassionate care provided by WHAH Staff. Despite the short notice, they accommodated us quickly and saw us almost immediately upon arrival. The veterinarian was knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring, while the entire staff showed warmth and professionalism. Their well-equipped facilities and efficient service exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of veterinary care.

Everyone is so warm and friendly at West Hills, even my dog Dexter loves going there. Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable there - from Dr. Shoop, to the vet technicians to the people in the reception area. They genuinely care about you and your pet and that is why I travel over 20 minutes to go there instead of going to a place that is 5 minutes away.

I just came back from this place and I have to say compared to the first one I went to this one is SO MUCH BETTER. Not only were the estimates lower but everything was explained clearly, people were really kind, and we were told what to expect from the get-go. Also wait time was reasonable and -I don’t normally write like this but- I think my cat got really good care. All of these things in total show they care. This place is much farther than the first clinic I went to but because of the great service I will definitely be coming back here if anything happens.

This is the face of a little puggle who loves west hills animal hospital, especially the Lodge. She gets to have playtime and cuddles and comes home so happy each time. Cant recommend this place enough!

All staff members were friendly and competent. Feel very confident having Dr Warns care for my dogs. Not a long wait either !

We are from out of town and very impressed with the care we received. The doctor was not only knowledge but caring and the entire staff was so pleasant. this is the best care we have had for our 9 year old pup and we have used many services. They even followed up on a holiday just to check In. Prices were also in line with services in this and other areas. Highly recommend.

I am so grateful to have found this place! They were so compassionate when I was having an emergency with my pet. Thanks to their amazing staff and knowledgable doctors, my pet is back home with me and doing great! If I ever have another emergency, I know my pets will be in the best hands at West Hills!

We recently saw Dr Sauer. He was caring, knowledgeable, spent time discussing options, wasn’t pushy, and clearly enjoys working with animals. Good experience. We were seen within a reasonable amount of time and all staff was very friendly. Would recommend.

West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center is AMAZING!! Each time we've had to bring our furbabies here they have seen us right away. Even though they're further away from us then that other 24 hour Emergency pet hospital we will ALWAYS bring them here. They always make sure to see all the animals in a timely manner because they understand that they're in pain or need to be tended to.

In addition the doctors and nurses all are very kind and diligent with handling and taking care of the furbabies.

Dr. Irma took her time to to speak to me and examine Cosmo. Thankfully it was nothing serious and he is feeling better!

We had to say goodbye to our sweet 14 year old dog and the West Hills Dr’s and staff took such amazing care of her when she was sick. When the day came, Dr. Cayetano was so wonderful, caring and compassionate. She made one of the hardest days of our lives a little easier. I cannot say enough good things about the Dr and staff and how my sweet girl was taken care of.
