My partner and I are a Photo and Film team. We found ourselves needing some extra rolls of Portra 400 film last minute, and Camera Concepts had everything we needed. While picking up the film I noticed Jeff's collection of cameras and lenses, including a super 8 camera that was in excellent condition and even tested! Being such a rare find I had to purchase it. It's so hard to find quality and service at a reasonable price in 2024. It is businesses like these that deserve continual patronage, even if prices are 5-10% more than Amazon would be. I will be a return customer and recommend this store to anyone I know on LI.

I’ve had an old Canon digital camera sitting in a drawer with a jammed lens, I brought it into this store, and more than one employee/owner took their time to look at the camera and check out the best possible way to repair. I got lucky and they were able to help me quickly and easily with unjamming the lens. Everyone in store was welcoming, nice and willing to help. THANK YOU !!!! This made my day :)

This beautiful shop, which is also like a mini museum, continues to make me wonder why anyone would go anywhere else for what they sell. You can't get ANY personal service using Amazon; CCTS's customer service is superior. Their products {cameras, telescopes, games, toys, equipment, t-shirts and button down shirts with space themes, film, (!!!!,) etc } are at once beautiful, fascinating, clever, plentiful, high quality and so reasonably priced that it wouldn't matter HOW far they were from me on LI; I would just make the trip. Jeff, Maria and crew are the best! WE LOVE YOU, CC&TS !

Cool store, the kid that works in there looks like howard Stern. The store was suprisingly busy and his boss didnt mind me talking to him. He was a knowledgeable and friendly young man. The store is packed with high-quality optics and some kid stuff to get them interested. Having owned a camera store, I can say I was impressed. Microscopes, telescopes and everything one might need to be a spy or a star gazer.

My experience here was 10/10! I had broken the rewind knob on my Nikonos IV and Jeff was able to repair it and get the camera back to me on THE SAME DAY, for something that would typically take about a week. This was incredible since this all happened 2 days before my month-long vacation. Every staff member that I interacted with was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and had great knowledge and insight about the cameras. I will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Camera Concepts!

I ordered a devide for my darkroom and it arrived with the batteries so corroded they were stuck in place. I emailed them and they immediately let me ship it back to them to repair it, free of charge. Arrived back in a very reasonable time, working just fine! Absolutely wonderful customer service :)

My very first experience with CCTS was, quite frankly, AMAZING! They had a large presence at NEAF this year (2023) and I spent a lot of time searching through their booth. Not only did they have the ZWO EAF I was searching for, but they also had the EAF adapter for the Redcat 51!! This adapter is made by DeepSkyDad and, to the best of my knowledge, is only available directly from him (in Slovenia!). Jeff, the owner, was super friendly even though he was working his butt off. I hope to have the pleasure of visiting the actual CCTS store some day. Thanks for making my first visit to NEAF even better!

My brother is a huge camera enthusiast and gave me a camera as a gift and sent me to this store. I was wowed, the employee bill was extremely helpful and kind. He recommended and educated me on my camera and sent me off on my merry way. Needless to say, ill be doing all my developing and buying all my film here. Thanks Bill!

This was my first time ever visiting this store to purchase a lens for my camera and the genuine customer service I received was 2nd to none! The two gentleman who helped me around the store were simply amazing. I loved every second of my time there and honestly wish I could have stayed longer lol. They also have an incredible selection of camera’s, lenses and equipment so I will definitely visit again real soon. The lens I purchased, the MINOLTA MC 58mm f1.4 performs incredibly well especially for portraits and I’ll be using it for my upcoming portrait session. (See the lens in the photos attached) Give them a visit if you are in the photography industry and you’ll see exactly why I only had great things to say about them!

I found them online while searching for a particular product. Website advised that the product was in stock, but I never trust that fully. Called them the next day and confirmed they had them. Staff was friendly and helpful. Discovered they had several of these in stock, so I notified some friends that were looking for the same item and they were able to order as well.

The following week I purchased another product from them that they surprisingly also had in stock. As we are experiencing these days from a shortage or wait on stock of certain things. All the staff I have communicated with were great!

I have contacted them back a couple times since in regards to some technical info and again they were more than helpful or got me to staff that had a better knowledge of what I was inquiring on.

I will continue to shop here in the future.

A few weeks ago I came by just to take a look around. While looking around I saw a Celestron StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ, which I've been eyeing for some time now. As compared to other stores I've seen it in, the price here was unbeatable. Of course, I bought it on the spot along with a few eyepieces and filters that were recommended to me. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be back soon to buy some more different lenses.

The store itself is a delight to the eye. I was impressed with the knowledge and courtesy of the staff. They politely and successfully helped my son and I navigate our issue with taking pictures using our telescope. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing anything for your telescope or camera and my family will be using them from now on!

I have a Minolta XG-SE film Camera. This was my grandfather's camera, and I love to shoot film on it. Between rolls of film, the shutter didn't release and my camera stopped working. I tried my best researching and knew that I couldn't fix the problem myself. When I presented the problem to Jeff, he fixed it right away and saved me $200+ dollars on fixing the shutter curtain or buying a new body. I couldn't be more happy. Besides that, CCTS has a wonderful atmosphere, and great place to go to if you're looking for anything camera related.

Came here from the north shore of Nassau and it was worth the time. Glad to support a local business like this. Yeah you can go online and buy things from big box places but it doesn’t beat this!

Knowledgeable and caring staff. Purchased a specific pair of binoculars upon their recommendation and they've been excellent. Also had them convert a Mini-DV tape with family archive footage to a DVD - a service they provide - and it came out great. Going there later today to have a couple of 8x10's professionally printed.

First time coming to camera concept and everyone here are just wonderful people. They are the true definition of best customer service. They are very knowledgeable people and you can tell very dedicated to their work. They took their time and answered all my questions no matter how big or small it was. I came in to purchase a telescope and I already knew which one I wanted and without missing a beat and according to my budget paired me up with the perfect eq mount.i would recommend anyone looking into photography and astrophotography to give these guy a try, I'm happy I came here first instead of b&h I suggest you do the same
