Edelweiss Delicatessen & Caterers

Edelweiss was recommended by my Uncle and they didn't disappoint! We live about 40 minutes west of Kings Park but it was well worth the trip. Their food was spectacular!!! We requests that they cater a large menu of German food and every dish was excellent. Even the cold Cucumber Salad was awesome. Who thought you could make cucumber salad so special and so good. The hot dishes were authentic and so tasty. Thank you so much, Edelweiss, for making my fathers 90th birthday so well received :)

Excellent Delicatessen! I've been going here since they opened and love the food. The quality is consistently superb. My side favorite is the cucumber salad. It's amazing how they have been able to keep providing such wonderful service even during the most trying of times. Thank you to all the staff and the owners!

Great German Deli with excellent homemade salads, prepared foods, and interesting selection of homemade frozen dinners and package foods. The beer selection is a 5*****. Fast take out breakfast and lunch service. Overall it is hard to find a Deli with the high quality of home cooking and salads. Try the catering. It is excellent.

Okay this place is awesome. I just moved into the neighborhood and I’m here once a week. From the baked goods, the fresh roasted turkey, to go meal section, soups, and a great staff behind the counter, there’s no need to go anywhere else. I also love the German potato salad and the array of beers. You can tell this is homemade cooking. Old school. Try the Blackforest or Oinker sandwich! Love it here.

I live in Montauk and drive there on Friday after work to pickup my order. It is over 160 miles round trip and it is well worth it for me! Their food is off the charts good! Their fried flounder on Fridays is amazing! Tartar sauce, cole slaw, German potato salad, meat cakes are incredible! A nice bunch of friendly people to boot! Keep up the great work guys!

Excellent Deli. German style they have the best bacon and eggs sandwiches around I would travel 40 mins to get me one of those excellent sandwiches. Their bacon is of good quality and the eggs are the larger size than most deli's which provide smaller eggs to save money and cheaper bacon. I have had other foods from Edelweiss and have enjoyed them as well. Their french toast is really good too.

Ordered a Hungry Man hero. Best hero I've ever had. They pretty much perfected the seasoning and my dad ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll and they almost perfected that too. He told them no salt and they loaded it. If you want no salt just repeat it a couple times :) this is honestly the best deli I've ever been to though.

I’ve never written a review on yelp or anything like that, who really has the time? I’m a bit of procrastinator, that being said, I’m going to do all my Christmas shopping today. I needed a great egg sandwich to help set the tone for the busy day ahead. I’ve had plenty of egg sandwiches throughout all of Long Island, but my hometown Edelweiss deli has that “homemade” egg sandwich taste. Always fresh, perfectly toasted roll, and my over easy eggs actually made EASY. I can go on and on with their food and positive attitudes but I need to shop! How was my first yelp review ? Best deli in the area. Everyone that works here is so helpful and sweet! The sandwiches have great portions of meat/cheese. Always getting my orders quickly but everything is spot on. I won’t go anywhere else!

Our family loves Edelweiss Deli .The food is top notch and authentic. Just stepping inside makes you hungry. The sandwiches are the best in town and are worth the wait. Nothing like packing an edelweiss hero for a ffishing or camping trip. The service is friendly and Dave is a huge supporter of the community.

Last of the authentic delis around. Most others are so commercial, serving frozen box food.. I have been going to Edelweiss for 20+ years and one of the great things that has not changed is the real homemade food served. It has always been and I hope it stays genuine . BEST DELI AROUND!!!

Very clean and the staff were very nice. They serve hot and cold food and I was pleased with my pastrami sandwich. Love that delicious mustard!

Where as andersons is quantity this place is quality. Best deli in Kings Park. I suggest a kingsmen with bbq sauce instead of honey mustard on a hero but everything is good. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen.
