Wow! Simply amazing food. I've lived in White Plains for over 3 years and this was the first time here. I wish I knew about it sooner. Amazing tacos, simple but fantastic. Will definitely be back to try other things in the menu.
The red and green sauce was the icing on the cake. Red was a bit hot but packed with flavor. A nice little secret spot and decently priced!

Don't be fooled by the tiny kitchen on a residential street, the food was out of this world. Amazing tacos al pastor, carnitas, and some of the best tamales I've ever had!

Funny story. I live a few blocks up and never noticed the place as it is in a residential area. There was a delivery issue with a package and it ended up going to the restaurant instead of my building. They were so kind to hold it for me and not send it back to ups! Anyhow I finally decided to order some take out. Love to support a local business. I got a few things to try nachos with chorizo. Delicious. Mexican enchilida. V good. Tacos I will eat tomorrow as my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Portions are generous, quality was great and prices were reasonable. I will definitely go back.

Love this place! We were in a rush and they went out of their way to make our food REALLY fast, and it was all absolutely delicious! Highly, highly recommend!

This place is a hole in the wall and as authentic as it gets the food is phenomenal and can't go wrong. Is a take out only spot but trust me it is worth the time definetly visit La Picara for their great food and excellent customer service.

Delicious food! Best cemitas I've tried in Westchester. Traditional Mexican dishes. Very generous portions and well priced. This is a go to place for my family!

By far the best mexican food I've had in the area. The huitlacoche quesadilla is incredible, and I will reccommend it to everyone I can.
