Dr Vellanki is an amazing Dr. He takes care of my kids with ADHD, not sure what we would do without him. The counselors in the office are amazing as well. We call it the Dream team office!!😊

Great doc & his office staff are excellent. I’ve been seeing him for about 6 years and he is always willing to listen. Does an awesome job with medicine coordination with other doctors. I’m glad my Medicare insurance directed me to him.

I have been a patient with Dr Vellanki for 11 years !!
I could not imagine any other Dr managing my medication or my illness !! He is all around my favorite !! His office staff is amazing !!

Great Dr and GREAT Front office staff

He has been very good with finding a med for my depresion/ anxiety associated with Parkinsons. Very easy to talk with and associate Mike is very good at getting to the point and allowing the patient to come to her/his own conclusion.

I've always had a great experience with this doctor office. Never had an issue reaching someone via phone and they always return my call. Friendly staff as well.

I never received care from this doctor because I was essentially refused service. The appointment was for my child who in the morning vehemently stated that she would not cooperate and not speak to anyone. I know my child and she is stubborn as a mule. Rather than wasting everyone's time and my money I tried to reschedule for the following week so I could try a different approach and get her there willing to cooperate and participate. If that didn't help she would be there anyway as I am the parent and not afraid to use my clout. Was told that it was so last minute and being a new patient they could not take that chance again. Excuse me? You can't take a chance on a child that needs help with depression and anxiety? What is the purpose of your practice? But instead of letting my inner Karen take over I just said alrighty then and hung up. I immediately wrote this and will continue to on every outlet I can.
Btw I was scheduled so quickly because someone canceled and I did not cancel last minute. Not impressed with this practice.

I had an appointment scheduled for my girlfriend, but on the day of the appointment she became angry, argumentative, and delusional, and she refused to go. This was symptomatic of an acute manic episode. I tried calling the phone # listed on the site to cancel but it was disconnected. So I drove to the office to explain what happened. Everyone there was nice and they listened to my story. We agreed that I would write out some notes and give the letter to the Doctor as an aid to understanding my girlfriend's illness.
Four days later when I arrived with the letter to reschedule, I was told that since the first appointment was missed with no notice I can't make another appointment, and my girlfriend cannot be a patient there.
But why didn't anyone say anything before when I was there? I offered to pay out of pocket to cover the time lost to the Doctor, but no use.
Mental illness can be very serious to the point of being life threatening. These staff members must be trained to understand this.

Had Doctor Vellanki for probably over ten years!! Good doctor!! Changed my insurance to United health care on February 1 2018 told me to leave there office because of non payment of billing.Did not have any idea that my insurance was not paying they never told me nothing at all no billing was sent to me or nothing no past due bills Nothing at all on the June 27 2018 they said that I did not have a appointment because my insurance would not pay!! Which is a total lie from his office I called
United health care and they said they had an contract with doctor Vellanki the last contract was signed on the June 1 2017 and he was on there list as a doctor.They said that no billing request has been made in my name at this time. They also said that if they did not send the billing request to the right address that they would not be paid at all , but they should know this! It has to be sent to the address on the insurance card plus no copies of the card was made I gave the office worker a look at the insurance card and said they don’t take United health care, because they don’t pay and I don’t have a appointment because of non payment of insurance I placed 3 phone calls to dr Vellanki the last one requesting him to call me back and no calls back at all.
I think after 10 years plus he owes me a call back and explain where he is coming from.Why!! (How do I know what’s going on if they don’t tell me or notify me saying hey your insurance won’t pay! And give me a 30 day notice to get some kind of payment going)
I myself is very disappointed with the actions of Dr.Vellanki and no phone call back from him. After 10 plus years and all the positive influence in his conversations means nothing after his actions to end our relationship over the amount of dollars and no explanation of what happened. I hope this gives you and idea about my simple problem with Dr Vellanki and him how he treats people in his office.

Dr Vellanki is a great doctor, unfortunately his office staff is extremely unconcerned and uncompassioned with clients. I don't know that they realize that they deal with patients who have, sometimes severe, mental disorders. They are very rude and inconsiderate without thinking about what type of mood or mind frame this can throw a patient into. When working with clients who suffer from anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, depression and more, you must be aware of your words and actions because you don't know the effect it will have on that person.

I called this office 4 months ago and they said there's a 2 month waiting list. Here it is a month and a half later and still nothing. I've called them 4 TIMES!...and every time they say they'll give me a call back and they NEVER do. Considering they deal with mental health, you think they would care more, or actually give you a call back.
