Dave's Cosmic Subs

Tried this place when we had a show in the area. Fantastic subs that are a cut above all the other chains I've tried, and I've been to all the major ones. The dave's sauce works well with the far out, the chips are great, and they play amazing classic rock. One drawback is that there are only six tables inside, and the place is quite popular, so it may be a struggle to find a table for dine in. It also takes a little while to get your food, but it's worth it!

We came here for lunch and it wasn’t too busy. I ordered their veg meatball which was delicious! Prices were great considering how much food you received. They had some pretty cool decor and it’s location is ideal, being so close to Battelle and the university.

Great sandwich spot with great 70’s-80’s vibe. Got the rock and roll dave sandwich, the bread was well toasted and ingredients blended super well. If you like vinegar tastes these sandwiches are for you. The in houses sodas are also worth the try. Service was personal and friendly and price was solid. Would recommend to anybody!

Best Sub in Columbus. Didn’t get all the ingredients that I paid through Uber Eats, but it was still good even though it could have been better. Ordered an Italian but only received it with pepperoni and was missing extra hot peppers and the pickle too.

First time ordering from here and i have to say the #4 Far Out, was delicious. Might be in my top 5 subs. Kudos to the employees. I will definitely be back.

Paul and Marissa are such hard workers and make such great food! I often stop in after work or before events on campus for a good, quick meal. They also always have great music going.

Looking for GREAT services, and a chilled place to eat with some good subs, than Dave's Cosmic Subs is the place to go. I got an veggie sub with some Dave sauce and let me say I WILL be back for another one. We had an amazing experience here. Kristal and Sophia in particular were so wonderful and kind. We loved it so much that we came back every day that we were visiting Ohio.

First time here. Grabbed a hot Italian (talking about a sub ppl) and it was very delicious. Daves cosmic sauce is good but could have used less on my sub. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Parking, like all High St establishments, is tricky as you just find something down a side street.
Loved the decor...60-70s rock posters. Great place to eat lunch and reminisce.

Just found this place yesterday and I'm coming back today! Incredible subs. Tons of meat, great bread, super sauce, and knockout taste. Anyone who does not love these subs likes pineapple on pizza, raisins in potato salad, and the team up north. These are legit subs for those with real palates. If ya know, ya know. If you don't agree, you've bumped your head! #CosmicSauceTilIDie

I tried their world famous beef and tuna subs. Their subs have large size and fresh ingredients with a reasonable price. The service is always friendly. Personally, I like the tuna more.

So happy to have a great toasted sub shop in town with veggie options. Paul is fantastic and loves to chat! Worth a stop!

The vibe of this sub shop was super cool. Psych rock music played in the shop and cool music memorabilia adorned the walls.

I got a sub with corned beef and cole slaw that was served warm with signature spices. The spices really gave this sub a unique identity and flavor. The quality of the meat was great and the price was super affordable.

The shop is located down the street from the Newport Music Hall and near Ohio State's campus. Easy to walk to and grab a bite.

Food is always excellent! Service was very very fast too! Paul and Marissa were super, thanks for chatting with me about music! :)

I get the Philly cheese stake which is absolutely amazing. Quality ingredients with excellent flavor. Dave’s sodas are so good too my favorite is the grape. Much better than jeresy mikes, subway, Jimmy John’s, ect

My partner and I love stopping at this Dave’s every time we pass through Columbus. Quality subs and awesome service every time! Special shout out to Sophia who was so kind and cool today, as well as the dudes who made our delicious subs! If I could give you 100 of 5 stars on this review, I would.

Good news: these subs are one of the best options in Columbus. Pleasant surprise coming from the game. Doesn’t leave you hungry & hits every taste bud. 10/10.

I loved it, the aesthetics for awesome and the food was great. While waiting for the food to cook we looked at all the pictures that were on the wall. We also got some of the soda, black cherry was freaking dank.

First time customer. Delivery order. Delicious! I ordered vegie sub, hubby ordered meatball. Both were excellent! We will definitely order from Dave's again.
