Pat's Tavern & Grill

This place is awesome! Pam and Denny are absolutely fantastic!! Passing through on a cross country journey to my new home spot in the UP and had to stop for the night. One of the best fish and chips I've ever had! We met some really nice locals and had some fun chats. Great spot here and great energy in these walls! Thank you again Pam and Denny ❤ Tommy and I will see you again soon.

While Pat's is only currently open 2 days a week, the food he serves is top tier. The tacos are 2nd to none. It may be a coincidence but the local Mexican restaurant is closed the same day that tacos are served here.

Best tacos ever! By far! Amazing wait staff and great customer service. Clueless first time being there and they had the patience to deal with a group of 6 on top of the normal crowd.

Food is very good. Have been there several times for the fish fry and once for weds. Tacos. Tacos are awesome and it's near impossible to get a seat because everyone knows. Pat can be a little rough around the edges, but hey, if you enjoy a straight forward attitude he is your cup of tea. His wife is great. Will be back and back and back again....

Owner is awesome. Very delicious food and nice shaded and sunny areas to sit outside.so glad we stopped here. Give it a chance!!!

Friday night fish fry - 3 PC cod w/deep fried red potatoes EXCELLENT! Bloody Mary with a widow maker. Also offered tenderloin steak and prepared exactly how I wanted it MR , with a great Whisky Old Fashioned! Great, friendly service. Make sure you visit on Wednesdays for Fry Bread tacos. Everything 5 star!

Up In town on a golf trip, had the fish fry on Friday night which was phenomenal. Everything was very reasonably priced with a friendly staff. I'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our fish last night. Dennis made a couple excellent old fashioneds and the fish was prepared to perfection! Great small talk with some friendly folks at the bar as well as with Pam and Dennis—cool this place has been in their family 93 years!! We will be back!

Was referred by a coworker. Some of the best darn tacos I’ve had in a while tortillas were even handmade.

Taco night is still top shelf!

Great little family owned (3 generations!) That now Dennis and Pam are running. Pam is a wealth of info if you're a Scotch drinker as she lived there and knows the whiskies and stocks a few higher-end brands in their shelves. Love this place!

I thought this food was amazing! I got a fish fry with French fry’s and bread. To start the fish fry had the best breading ever and the fish was really moist! And the French fry’s were really delicious too. To top it off the rye bread was phenomenal, they toast and butter it making it so yummy. I also had a brandy old fashion which was also really good. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Picked up the Wednesday tacos to go.
Got chicken & the shredded beef. Both were amazing. The slightly deep fried shell really makes the difference.
The owner is friendly & outgoing. I can't wait for it to open normally & just hang out here.

Warm and friendly with a great selection of Irish whiskeys. Dennis was friendly from the start and was proud to tell the history of the tavern. Pam was so very kind and we enjoyed swapping stories of life in the big city compared to the peaceful Northwoods. Food smelled amazing but we did not dine there. We will keep Pat's Tavern in our fond memories of our trip to Rhinelander. Thank you again Pam and Dennis!

Their bloodies are awesome & so is their food !! Love their burgers too! Fantastic food - great gem of a restaurant & bar. We always have to visit this place when We are in town. See u soon Pat’s crew! Keep up the awesome work :)

Good burger. Taco Wednesday is excellent. Owner is friendly. One of the best spots in the area for casual outdoor dining.
