Reasonabley priced home cooked food. Daily specials . Bar has local draft beer and cocktails. We were there on a Tuesday and it was packed. The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing is delicious. The hot Tom and Jerry seasonal cocktail is delicious and very popular

Best original diner in town. Great food selection with hearty portions. The bar feels like something out of the 1800s and they have a decent selection of liquors. They serve in DORA cups so you can take them to go if needed.

Good food and an even greater atmosphere. Loved this place.

Tom and Jerry resembles a warm delicious egg nog with a kick. Beef Manhattan is everything you could ask for comfort food. Great attentive service!

Had the 4 piece chicken dinner..... Best chicken ever! Also had the perch dinner special..... The fish had very light breading and was cooked to perfection. One of our favorite casual restaurants

Friendly staff and good service even when busy even considering a little slow when almost completely at capacity. Bustling atmosphere but everyone seems to try to be mindful of their table neighbors. Prices are pretty standard so you won't break the bank for a decent meal 👍

We had the ABSOLUTE best service with Natalie! She was extremely busy but she was right on top of our order and drinks. Her friendliness, courtesy, great attitude, and professional demeanor were like a welcome home! The walleye was top notch, food was hot, we were served in a timely manner, and had a wonderful experience from both sides of the door!!!!

Visited Defiance in November 2023. Great memories with our dad. They had pool tables then. The history of Kissner’s is fascinating. Great service and breakfast was delicious!

Kissner’s is the bomb. Very cool setting on the inside. Kind of like a 1950’s themed Cracker Barrel. I got the 3/4 pound Karl burger with waffle fries and the cheese curds as an app. The burger was 9/10. Awesome food. Would recommend.

This place is a fantastic place to stop even if you are just passing through. The building is awesome and the staff are so genuine. Check it out!

This is a great local place for food and drinks! The location has a beautiful old bar that was built when over a century ago. We stopped in to have their signature drink the Tom & Jerry, which is delicious and will warm you up on a cold day!

Used to come here often for lunch when I lived in town. Now I like to stop in anytime. Good food, great atmosphere, great people.

Oh my they have good old fashioned Ohio shredded chicken sandwiches. We all tried yummy fried, cauliflower, mushrooms, onion rings and French potatoes . The special beef Manhattan was great. The omelet was gigantic. The bar is antique super fancy wood.

One if the oldest bars/ restaurants in the city, home cooked food and the amazing smash burgers are out of this world !
