Ichiban Sushi

Our food was flavorful, and the amount served was bountiful. Hot tea was wonderful. You can smell the jasmine. The meal was well priced as well. Unfortunately, the server, a young man, was not hospitable and forgot our fried rice. The other server, the lady, was nice and attentive. The bathroom was clean.

Delicious. I ordered take out and what a surprise. Presentation was fantastic. Big portions. Great prices. This is def worth it! If you haven't tried it, this is a must. There's a ton of sushi options!

Update- came for lunch. Ate inside and it was the cutest little restaurant. The staff was friendly. Food was tasty and fresh. Fantastic presentation! Had a great exp and will def be coming back!

First time eating here and I have to say I’m very very impressed, the food is better than any hibachi around!!!! Coming from a fat guy who loves food, don’t miss out on this place!

Great start so far. This was my second time back since they opened. I got the same thing both times to judge if it was consistent. I am happy to say that both times I was thoroughly pleased with the quality and taste. The price is right along the average compared with other sushi joints. The sushi was well seasoned, the fish tasted correct, and the size was good. The salad with ginger dressing was average. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had the sushi & crab Rangoon & both were Delicious. I will definitely go back. The decor is very warm even if it's a bit small. Take out seems quite popular for Ichiban because there were a lot of pick ups while my friends & I dined in for 3 hours. We were chatting, not there that long because of poor service.

Had the salmon teriyaki bento box and it was fantastic!! Their clear soup was also amazing. Everyone in my lunch party loved what they had to eat - I don’t think there’s anything that’s not good here! Will definitely be a new favorite spot to eat for me. 😊

Finally tried Ichiban Sushi and we were pleasantly surprised with the food and prices.
Our only slightly small complaint was cold air kept coming from the back of the restaurant to the dining area.
Will definitely be back again.

Just got pick up but it was absolutely delicious. I recommend the sweet potato roll. I’m gonna be back very soon!

i got the shrimp tempura roll and oh my god it was so good! best sushi i’ve had since moving to kent! everything was perfect so one thing wasn’t overwhelming the other flavors!

Date night. It was great for what it is. I'm not looking for the $250 omakase option here so I'm still rating them highly if you are expecting decent sushi in Ohio.

Great choice!!! Restaurant was clean & staff was welcoming! Food not only looked great-tasted great!!! Huge portions. We would highly recommend!

I had some of the freshest and most tender fish on my sushi platter that I've ever had in the States. Super delicious!

We ordered the dragon roll and the Philadelphia roll. They were delicious! When we went inside to get the food they were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back here again.

Spectacular describes Ichiban! Seriously speaking, we ordered the Chicken Hibachi and it was simply amazing. They just put a major gap in Hibachi in The 330

Small place but for a lunch for one I could not complain. Very good food, great service. Everyone very nice. Definitely going back. Sushi is amazing the habichi is fantastic as well.

Their sushi is so fresh and tasted fantastic! And the bento boxes are delicious and so cute too!

Fantastic quality! Went for sushi only and the quality of the fish was better than 90% of sushi restaurants in the area. They do carry gluten free soy sauce as well. Definitely will come back.
