My daughter's grad party is tomorrow... So of course I'm overwhelmed but new i wanted to order the cake from Giant Eagle as i do for all birthdays... I had alot of shopping to do and the 20% off sales of over a hundred dollars was today.... I walked up to the bakery and was greeted by a lady named Debbie... She is awesome.... she took my order and offered some extra advice on what to have written on the cake plus other tips..I told her i wanted to pay for the cake today and she gave me the ticket to take to the register when i was finished shopping so i could add to my final bill which was around 360... I ended up saving around 75 dollars! I never comment on anything but just wanted to take a few minutes to point her out because she made my shopping experience a whole lot easier. I've never had a bad experience with the bakery and they've always been very accommodating and creative when asked to be.

Nice and clean. Staff can improve with more training and giving better customer service . Other than that a good shopping experience. I would recommend.

We purchased a cassata cake yesterday and when I opened the box, the top half was sliding off the bottom. These cakes are notoriously difficult so that is why this didn't receive 0 stars. It's semi-forgiveable. Then, I noticed the frosting wasn't whipped cream frosting, which is the only real way to make a legit cassata, and the purchaser said that when she ordered, the baker person indicating that this is how they are traditionally made, which is incorrect. We ate the cake and though the taste was good, because all cake taste good, this was not a good cassata cake. There was barely any custard with the strawberries, the whipped cream was not good as it was buttercream, and the cake was falling apart. Only positive is that the cake itself was moist and had a good taste. I'd rather travel to CLE than order a cake from here again.

I never went here. I just walked through to get to the groceries at Giant Eagle. I'm gluten free. They don't have any gluten free bakery goods there. If they did, I might buy something.
