I ordered a pour over coffee and a scone. The coffee was a delight, and the food hit the spot. I worked from the location for a little while. Wifi was fast, and I was able to get my work done. But seating is very limited and the only option is street parking. It was not busy when I arrived so no problem for me but if they had a rush it would get crowded quickly. Everyone was friendly, and the aroma in the shop was awesome. If in the area, give them a try. If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍.

Friendly staff and eager to engage and educate in coffee culture. Not pretentious at all. Coffee is freshly roasted and excellent. Have had several types of beans and a v60 pour over. All of excellent quality. Can't wait to come back!

Simplicity is key here for all the attention is poured into roasting and serving single-origin, top-grade coffee to perfection. The owner and the staff are obsessed with serving the perfect cup. I've literally seen them throw away anything they weren't satisfied with, even though the customer may never know the difference. I love the mail order subscription of freshly roasted beans I receive each month in the mail. I even brought a friend traveling from Brazil to the shop and he declared this the best cup of espresso he's yet had in the U.S. (and he's been all over). Can't recommend this place enough. It's a gem in the region, not just the city.

I picked up a bag of whole bean expresso roast. It is by far the best expresso I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. I feel like every other bean that has been though my machine was a trick and for the first time I know what expresso is supposed to be. The flavor profile of each layer is distinct a delicious. Walking is so much fun. I always stumble into Little gems in often hideaway corners that nobody seems to notice. So I followed the sign that said find coffee here. And I found coffee there. Friendly people and good service. As I am always looking for LGBTQ+ friendly places, I found yet another one in Akron coffee roasters. Don't look for meals but you will find good coffee. The place is small but packed with good coffee. Each cup is individually brewed and the barista, appeared unaffected by me being transgender. So if you happen to be on High Street, stop in and get a cup of Josephine.

Hands down the best coffee shop in all of Akron. I absolutely love their cold pourovers of Ethiopian blend coffee with a dash of almond milk (home made almond milk, by the way). Different selections of coffee for the pourovers from day to day also, which keeps it interesting. A great way to start your day! Plus if you're looking for a bite to eat in the a.m., check out their specialty toasts or the granola.

Coffee was delicious, worker was very kind and it was overall an nice place to sit for a while and get work done on my computer.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Akron. I live in California now, but whenever I'm home, I make time to stop at ACR and grab a cup. I also recommend the subscription service. Nothing beats a slow weekend morning on the couch with a cup of their coffee.

Great coffee. Love the sign outside. Parking is a bit of a pain. Not a whole lot of seating, but there are areas next door and outside that help. They had cold pour over drink, which I'd never seen before.

I live closer to Cle and have not found a coffee shop I’m impressed with. Akron city roasters has changed that! Seriously the best maple cortado in all of NE Ohio!

THE BEST IN AKRON. i never tasted a coffee better than their coffee. The place is beautiful, clean and comfortable and the baristas are all nice. The only issue with this place is that it closes early.

Kind staff and nice coffee bean smell in the cafe. Unfortunately, nobody can't drink it indoor because of Covid-19. Actually, mixed soda and esppresso one wasn't not my style, ice pour over was nice to me.

I love this coffee shop. The scent of freshly roasted and brewed coffee is the best. The coffee is always amazing. Service is great and the people behind the register are always amazing and super knowledgeable about their pourover brews. They have locally made pastries too I think.

The coffee is great, the space is lovely, the people are friendly, this place really delivers! Their small scale setup really provides those who brew at home with the freshest beans possible as I was able to get a bag of beans that was roasted the day prior to purchase! Really love this place, I was just passing through on my visit as I’m from Columbus, but I’ll definitely be stopping by again whenever I’m back in town!
