Dr Kepley replaced my left knee in May. I now have full extension and 112 degrees flexion, which is pretty good for 3 weeks post op. I have scheduled my right knee replacement for the end of July. Key to successful surgery is a skilled surgeon and then it’s up to you. Follow instructions to the letter. DO YOUR THERAPY!!!! Do it on your own at home when instructed. You get nowhere sitting still! If you do not do your therapy you will not have optimum results no matter how skilled your surgeon is!!! BTW don’t be surprised if you are weepy, possibly cranky and maybe even depressed for a few weeks after surgery. This happened to me and a few other people I have talked with. I think the uncertainty of my outcome and possibly the fact that I am not a person who likes to do nothing had a lot to do with it. Therapy was pretty much my only enjoyment. Even food wasn’t really satisfying. I could not focus for at least a week to even watch TV. All-in-all I have had a very good experience!! I am walking well on my operative leg. My other leg is giving me trouble but I’m sure that it will also be working well by the 3rd week in August! UPDATE January 2023: I had a great outcome as well with my 2nd knee surgery. I am now fully active and enjoying life again to the fullest possible! Hope this review helps with your experience with knee replacement surgery!

I thought my future was pain and immobility. Then I was referred to Dr. Kepley. He told me surgery was needed but that it would change my life. Six shorts weeks later after double hip replacement I am pain free and able to do more now than in the last three years. I will be forever grateful.

Dr. Kepley has been my surgeon for years. He has patience, is kind, does not rush when I have questions, is thorough and is extremely competent. He replaced both knees and my right hip and they are all working very well and NO PAIN! I highly recommend Dr. Kepley.

Between my extended family and friends, we have had 6 meniscus knee surgeries, and 2 knee replacements all done by Dr Kepley, and he did an outstanding job.

Went and saw Dr. Kepley about a month ago. I had seen a different doctor about a year before and had a knee operation in 2018 that didn’t seem to fix anything. I’ve gone through physical therapy multiple times and nothing has helped. We decided to try Dr. Kepley and set up an appointment. We had to deliver medical records and wait about a month to be called back for an appointment. Complete waste of time. We went for the appointment and had new X-rays taken, and proceeded to wait in our tiny room for about an HOUR. Dr. Kepley came in and spent about 5 minutes with us, asked for the MRI disk, which we had with us, but he never looked at it. Proceeded to tell me to try physical therapy and that it would work. He clearly never looked at any of my records, wasn’t even aware of the fact that I had already had a surgery. If he had looked at them, he would’ve seen that physical therapy has done NOTHING for my knee and that we needed a new approach. Will NOT be returning to him. Not sure why he felt it would be okay to not look at a patients records or spend 5 minutes with them when they have been waiting an hour. Absolutely ridiculous.

He will get you in collect your money then tell you to get out. Knee replacement was a joke. It pops out worse than ever. Got a free handy cap sticker for my vehicle. This guy is really bad. Don't go to him.
