I live in Arizona and was in the market for a used truck, specifically a Ram 1500 Bighorn. I was going to purchase out of state due to used trucks being like $7000 more here in Arizona for some outrageous reason. Anyways, I scoured car-gurus for months looking for the best deal and finally came across an option with Valley Motor City. My point of contact was a sales rep by the name of Gary and right off the bat our conversation was extremely pleasant. He wasn’t pushy whatsoever and was just straight up about everything and the condition the truck was in. Sent me plenty of pictures and videos and answered all my questions. This was my first time ever buying a car out of state and he told me they do it all the time and I had nothing to worry about. Sure enough he was a man of his word. No added dealer mark-ups for nonsense nobody wants anyways was a huge plus. I was expecting the out of state process to have some issues here and there but I honestly have zero complaints. Shout out to Gary for being an awesome sales rep for Valley Motor City. Pictures provided after getting the truck because she’s a beauty! Thanks Gary you are the man!

Traded a 2017 Ford Fusion and Bought a 2020 Ford Explorer ST

Great experience. My salesman was/is Gary. I had been looking for a Ford Explorer ST. They so happened to have one at my preferred price and miles. Gary told me on the phone the car had a few small things needed fixing, Gary’s honesty got me down there. He went through all the CARFAX and reports ( I already checked ALL this before I even called but I wanted to see his process) . They matched carvana to almost completely wipe out my negative equity. Car needed servicing and I needed and other week to take it home so it worked out. During maintenance they replaced the interior broken part, they discovered and informed me they replaced the brakes and other mechanical components.

Sale was easy. Less than an hour. I was having a panic attack because I hate dealerships but Gary kept up conversation which helped. I almost had an anxiety attack the first time there and had to step out and they were patient. Sales manager was very nice, smiles and had jokes. He showed me how to set up apple carplay and of course we had to sit in the car and absorb those 16 B&O speakers. The finance guy DID offer their extended warranty at a discount. I still have almost 2 more years factory warranty so I declined and he respectfully moved on. He offered to fill out my check but I am Gen Z so I needed to practice handwriting, my brain was fried though so he helped me like a teacher LOLOL.

Gary did let me do the test drive on my own, I had full intention of buying so that was helpful to see what the car could do without scaring a passenger.

Overall 100% great experience from all of them. If you hate dealers and get anxiety, i recommend them.

My wife and I have bought several Jeep Grand Cherokees over the years and have worked with a different dealer in the area. For some reason, this other dealer and sales department became very unresponsive when it came time to trade in my lease. I called them multiple times, but they never called me back. I decided to call two other dealerships, but they never called me back. Finally, my neighbor told me to call Scott Foster at Valley Motor City. Scott promptly returned my call, and I stopped in that afternoon to look at a new Ram 1500. Negotiations were quick and easy, and I felt as if they gave me a fair price for my trade and we did not have to deal with the back-and-forth haggling. I returned a few nights later to complete the financing paperwork and take delivery of my new truck. Ben in Finance was quick, efficient, and great to work with. Overall, we spent less than three hours in the dealership, and I walked away an extremely happy customer. Great experience with Scott Mancabelli. Originally searched online to find a used Jeep and went to dealership to see it in person. Scott was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, features, warranty etc. he was very easy to work with and the whole team was transparent, thorough and no pressure. Decided to buy the vehicle and feel like I not only got a very good (and fair) deal, they were focused on my experience and ensuring everything was right for me. I had been looking for a truck for about a month online. I found one at Valley Motor City through the Car Gurus app and kept an eye on it for about a week and half as I live 2+ hours from the location. When I called the dealership, I talked to Scott Mancabelli and he was very helpful. Took a couple additional photos for me of an area that I had concern with from the photos online and got them over to me quick. When I called him to let him know I was going to come up and see it a couple days later, he had it freshly washed and was the first thing I saw when I pulled in the lot. At no point was Scott ever pushy, quite the opposite in fact. Very friendly, helpful, and gave me my space when I asked for it. When all was said and done, I walked out of there having bought my VERY much anticipated first truck of my life. And even better, they agreed to work on a couple of the concerns I had about the paint and a minor broken part, then deliver it to me two hours away so I didn't have to come back. THAT, was pretty astounding. I also have to say that the Used Car Manager, I believe his name was Andy, was great to work with as well!

Gary Thonen was our salesman.We were kindly informed that Gary was new. It didn’t matter. He was so pleasant, and so helpful. He was honest about his experience with Dodge Ram trucks. But, he was finding the information to help us. He was upfront and honest. If he didn’t know the answer he didn’t pretend. He got the answer from his leadership.
His peers helped him. They didn’t act like it wasn’t their deal so it wasn’t their problem. They were all so attentive and so wonderful with us. Seriously, Gary is an asset. Keep him! The manager Randy literally made the deal happen. He wanted our business and he worked with us. He 100% got us for our vehicle needs.

Worked with Scott Mancabelli to do a trade-in and purchase on a Ram 1500. Scott was one of the kindest, honest sales people I have ever worked with, and the deal was very fair. Also, Scott and the service department did a great job of taking care of a problem with my driver's side window. I live almost an hour from this dealership, and this is the second purchase I have made at their store. I will definitely purchase vehicles from Scott in the future.

I purchased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Valley Motor City. From my initial correspondence through finalization of the purchase EVERYONE at this dealership was extremely professional and easy to deal with. Scott Mancabelli (sales representative) did an excellent job in getting me through the entire process and was very knowledgeable. Unlike many other dealerships there was no "high pressure" sales push. If you're in the market for a Jeep consider Valley Motor City.
