Last Exit Vinyl House

One of the last great independent shops in Kent. Extensive book and record inventory, both used and new, and a great little coffee shop that draws both students and old hippies (I use the term with great reverence and respect!) in equal measure. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, too.

They have a great selection of vinyl, especially new ones. They also have a nice selection of used vinyl that is always changing, so you never know what you might find there!

If you love books, old vinyl records, poetry readings & good conversation, you need to visit! Very nice Cafe as well.

A gem of a shop in Kent. As others have said, the "new" section is rather small, but it was a fantastic selection. Most of my purchases the day I was there were new, simply because they had things that I haven't found elsewhere. The used stuff overwhelms the store, and they have a lot of the usual stuff, plus more. Last Exit has one of the best and cleanest Classical sections I have ever seen. Usually in other stores, Classical is parked underneath everything else, near the floor and unsorted, but there they were alphabetized by composer, all poly bagged and in great shape. I will definitely return often. Great spot.

If your in to collecting vinyl this is the place to go. Employees are friendly and helpful. The store is organized very well. Great selection of vinyls old and new (also sells CDs and Movies). Prices are fair and affordable. Great store overall and so far I’ve never left this store empty handed. 👍

I had a list of albums I was looking for. I didn't catch his name, but the young man working was very helpful. He took my list and went through it much quicker than I could have. I really appreciated his help! I liked this store much better than the other record store in Kent. Thank you!

I went there not really looking for anything in particular, but there is plenty of inventory to go through and I picked up an original 1958 Ellington Indigo's album for under $10. For a 62 yr old album it's surprising clean and in good shape. Thanks for the cool place to browse Last Exit!

Good service, good ownership and good records. They don’t sell record players but they said they’re planning on it.

Definitely the place to go in town. Walking in sometimes they'll play tunes that correlate to which section you'll go to
